The 2nd ingredient in the serum is beeswax & that instantly seals off the cuticle & moisture will no longer penetrate. That & the soybean oil (1st ingredient) is why I didn't purchase the serum. A filler oil & wax.. NO MA'AM!! Not for that price... The Gelle is great for type 2 & MAYBE type 3 hair, but for type 4 hair, something with more hold is necessary if you want lasting results.. But the rest of the products are AMAZING! 🖤

If your looking for a super thick leave in you should try ORS olive oil for naturals. It’s the thickest leave I’ve ever tried. The entire line looks amazing.
No. All winter I used the Mielle milk as my leave in but the ORS is amazing. I can get away with using it under my shea butter and gel for a wash and go in this cold new england weather without a problem.

Just bought the DC off the back of reading the ingredients list. It doesn't explicitly say no parabens no mineral oil etc but looks like to be true. Also no glycerin! My hair hates glycerin. Cant wait to try. On a side note I wonder if you layered with mielle twisting souffle if that would work? Struggling to find products without the chemicals and glycerin
That shampoo made me wanna jump thru the screen and wash my hair *RIGHT NOW* and I already did that over the weekend. Guess cause my non spa hair cleanser had clear shampoo 😀 Definitely will be getting the shampoo, mask and serum bc my hair loves all that stuff. Everything after that for me sounds like product overload which may just be why those products weren't working in one sitting but who knows. I'm guessing it was the glycerin in the leave in. I could sense your *buts* before you even gave them so I'm officially an OG fan. I was like uhoh, here it comes...but I knew it wasn't like a bad one (we not gonna say like which one recently) but I was right there witchu! And with Florida humidity, if this couldn't keep my hair defined in NY then I *know* that softness would be gone with the wind fabulous when we know we need more *staying power* . I just started my Curlkit subscription, my first time using a subscription service and they had a special for new customers so I decided to try it. But I haven’t been happy with what I’ve gotten in these past 2 months. Does anyone have some advice, experience, etc. I’m not trying to waste my money on junk.
KandidKinks thanks for answering! I’m going to end my Curlkit subscription and switch to Curlbox. Like I said in my first comment, I wasn’t thrilled with what I’ve received so far. They sent me products I’d never spend my money on aside from the Creme Of Nature Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse (which surprised me because I’ve always hated Creme Of Nature even when I was relaxed). Again thanks for the tip!

I haven’t tried them but I don’t see myself buying them I’ve only their edge controls but they just make your forehead oily and their clarifying shampoo and it turns my hair into dreadlocks every time lol but I’ve been thinking about the blueberry bliss line and this one for a while just haven’t went out and got them
cheapest moisturizing shampoo i know is the shea moisture manuka honey shampoo.. that thing is amazing! but if you're looking for something cheaper everyone raves about the cream of nature moisture and shine shampoo which is half the price of shea moisture and sulfate free. I've never tried it myself, but like I said I've heard good things.

Sade Mc Alister the hair tea conditioner was ok to me. I tried nothing else.
I used the hair bath and my hair was super dry it was not moisturizing at all. I’m also 4c low porosity

I think it's supposed to be like a deep conditioner. I do believe it needs to be rinsed out. I just got mine in my curlkit and came to get the tea!
