    Really turned out nice...Eagerly awaiting updates to see how it progresses. The cedar is such a smart choice as it has such flexible trunk and limbs at this point, plus it will provided plenty of additional foliage when it takes off...As understand it, Western Red Cedar.s require a fair amount of water, damp feet as it were, are you worried about your driftwood eventually decaying? Thanks for sharing such a creative idea...

    Was thinking about getting some of those horsetail bamboo from you I believe on ebay. I like your thead hanoki cypress as well.

    I love this idea! Though I would discourage picking up driftwood from the beach (ocean/salt water) the salt will kill your plants. A great place to get the wood with character is on river banks.
