I have 10 tube amps right now, been thru about 26 of them…..I don’t care what brand you own, they’re all fallible…..but I’ve never had a problem with my solid state amps….hmmmm.

Let's just be real, all electronics can fail for a multitude of reasons across the board from any manufacturer. People only hate Bugera because forums told them to.
      Just like the Marshall MG.

@riffsnoleads I've had a handful of bugeras opened up, also Marshalls.. and peaveys, and Oranges, etc. The bugeras really aren't any better or worse than any other budget tube amps built in China. B-52, Egnater, Chinese built peaveys etc.
Well.. that's not entirely true, I'd trust a Bugera far more than an Egnater but that's a different rabbit hole altogether.

all tube amps are “fallible” however these are just begging to fail because of poor assembly methods and cheap parts.

Don't techs absolutely hate Mesa Boogies as well?

The more amps fail and the harder they are to repair, the more jobs for techs and the more they can charge customers. There's nothing there to dislike - on the contrary. Money, money, money!

Are these amps worth their relatively cheap price once someone goes through them to fix the easily correctable soldering & crimping issues?

They are pretty decent sounding amps, I wouldn’t to travel and rely on it for gigs. If you don’t really leave your house it would be ok. It took me almost two hours to change a broken input jack. The boards are very flimsy too

@@dr.rawkensteinslab3453 I didn't get a notification or else I woulda thanked you for the reply & good info two weeks ago. I'm having an early midlife crisis and wanting to start playing live again so I do want something that'll be robust. I think I should be able to get a local guy to part ways with his Genz-Benz Shuttle 9.0 and if that falls through I could always grab a 600w Peavey Minimax -- either seem like a better option than the Bulgera. Thanks again!

I have a Bugera 1960 Infinium and I gig it all the time and I absolutely do not use kid gloves with it and it has not failed me yet. I got it 3 years ago from a dude who had it for like 3-5 years prior and I run it at high volume only and I think just now the stock power tubes are needing to be replaced.
People shit on them because of a few bad experiences and endless forum bashing because of the "my booteek $1000000000 amp is the bestest and anything less than that is ass scum" mindset that plagues forums.

Hell yeah use a noise pedal 4cable method, impedence switch for many different cab setups, behringer budget 5150 lol

Most of the problems are people who have no business soldering wires to pins working on them. The loose connections are usually from the previous idiot who got in there with his golden screwdriver. All amps nowadays that are mass produced are constructed in this manner. Mesa boogie included. Peavey and Marshall. Or whatever else. Ive owned many of the bugeras and fixed them. Its lucky they ever made these. Infact im pretty sure you cant buy them new anymore so blackstar or wacky chingchong amps are all that's out there on the cheap lol.
