This band helped me through a really hard time in my life, and I just kinda forgot about them afterwards, because thinking about that time, makes me angry, regretful, and sad, at how cringey I acted, and how if I was just smarter I might not have lost so much. But I clicked on this album with low expectations, and was blown away that the familiarity in these songs.

Imagine dragons is perhaps the band of my generation. We sang radioactive in the middle school locker room before soccer practice. And still even as I turn 23 they are putting out some of the best pop music I’ve ever heard. A distinct style with the usual aspects of their music this song has all that. I just always seem to dislike the lyrics, it’s like a simple minded song in writing but in performance it’s much much more than that. I do enjoy the message about believing in yourself and moving towards what you know is right. This song isnt innovative like many of their others but it is consistent with who imagine dragons is.
