I had a spinal injury at 16 and even now at 27 I'm still dealing with feelings of loss for who i used to be and what sports I could do. The past 3 years I've been on a journey to improve myself ( cooking, physical therapy and exploring outside my little bedroom bubble ) all thanks to an amazing p.a who has pushed me to get out of my shell and to just be brave for 10 seconds a time. I always watch this film and untouchable to give myself a little boost of happiness and I hope oneday I can find someone that will accept me and my injury.

The wedding scene when she's wearing a decent-gorgeous dress for the first time and dances with Will on the wheelchair is one of my favorite moments. The song, the movie they both struck me! I love the dialogues and I've learned many things in this movie..I'm still seeing some of my favorite clips ...
The first time I watched this I cried so hard that my mother made fun of me. After I watched this I would cry every time I remembered the scenes and listened to its soundtrack (especially Not Today by Imagine Dragons) for almost a week. Until now I will feel the pain in my heart every time the scene from this movie passes by. Call me overreacting, but I really love this movie. This movie hurt my heart, I loved it but it made me feel so emotional I couldn’t stop crying at 3 in the morning and still when I think about it, it hurts
Their relationship was so beautiful it was sad they had to part but they truly loved each other I think that was what made it so hard for me

I think this movie was hard on our hearts because somewhere we have been conditioned to 'happily everafter'. But this movie defied it. It showed us romance, practicality, acceptability and most important people may die but if Love is channeled well then other person can live a good quality life. It does not mean that they do not miss their partner, it is just that they get courage out of their love and memories to go out and do what they wanted to and yet not feel alone because the love lives on forever in their heart!!!!!!
You should read the trilogy. Me before you is the first book. You'll cry buckets. But you'll laugh too, and your hope will be restored.

I watched this movie 4 years ago while on a 7 day cruise, I cried so much and the people I was with laughed at me. I thought they were very rude because this is such a beautiful but sad movie. Plus I love this song. IMAGINE DRAGONS ROCK!!!!!

The book was heartbreaking on its own and watching the movie was the cherry on top.
So happy they made the movie very close to how the book was. I just loved it and all the characters even if it made me sob uncontrollably
