Damn, I remember watching this live on TV and I was only 18 then!
I was there with my wife tht nite... Electricfying nite... Al fatihah buat my late wife..
I was at this match! My friends and I were sitting at the entrance where the Indonesian players were coming out of... When Alan Budi Kusuma was sitting near the entrance and psyching himself up for this match, one of the spectators shouted at him, "OIY! ALAN! AWAK PASTI KALAH PUNYA!" And indeed he did.... When Malaysia won, my friends and I went to SS2 mamak stalls to celebrate after the game... The memory is still vivid after 32 years!
