Wow...tears in my eyes. What a powerful and emotional story. What a wonderfull man. Thanks for sharing.
What a great talk. Very powerful, and the questions only added to the learning. More of these videos, please!
Really glad that you enjoyed it Andre. We're hoping to increase our video content, so please share
A very inspiring talk - thank you for sharing this! I was impressed to hear someone speak who truly understood the sometimes subtle, and sometimes not so subtle differences between "truth" and "honesty." These are concepts, like "freedom" and "liberty" that can mean very different things. I found this video while looking for information on B&W film and came away with so much more!
Giles. Well done. What an incredible story. Delivering this message (Legacy if War) alone is powerful. Why and how you do it is an inspiration. Your comments about photographing love and honesty with great respect for the people you meet is a lesson for us all. Thank you for bringing this to us all. Hats off to Ilford for supporting your project! I am a huge fan of Ilford and this confirms my choice.
Truely inspiring talk. Best line is ‘I am not a war photographer, I photograph love.’ We all need to find our intent, else how do we create photographs that actually have meaning?
We're so glad that you enjoyed this. Giles is so inspirational and every one of his images has a story to tell.
Incredibly inspirational, and great images under the worst of conditions.

The first photo at just 8 seconds in is more powerful than 99.9% of the photos out there.
It it striking isn't it? His images are so powerful and each one had its own story

He's an amazing man isn't is? So glad you enjoyed it.
Just came upon this. Hats off to Ilford for seeing the value of making this presentation available. The power of a single, still image has not been lost; we are merely living through a time when too many are distracted from what is most important. But reality doesn't go away, and indeed, we have the power to make our global reality much better by committing ourselves to it.
Thanks for introducing me to this amazing photographer and interesting man, this should have a lot more exposure.
