I have been hovering between mg2 - lem (mostly dmg) for the last few years and at least for me it is clear that the skill ceiling has increased a lot. Managing to stay in your rank can still show an increased skill level. Right now I just deranked from mge. I am in a clear slump, but my God people are getting better in the surrounding ranks. Makes sense since the player numbers are so high rn.
Im think the same, in the recent time i found so much harder to play against guys who are Mg1 or gold nova 4 thank years before, it could be because of how many players play currently or because of last update of ranks
Started cs go 1 years ago, was shitty silver 1, now im dmg close to eagle, and for some reasons some game are way more harder to win on my GN4 smurf than in dmg

LEM is such a low skilled rank that i know before i get in the game im gonna have 30-40 kills
The average persons hardware is getting better too. I think having 60 fps or 60hz are both enough to keep you down a rank or two.

Here in goldnova 1 - 2, almost everyone has more gamesense and knowledge than this guy. He's probably decently talented at aiming, or has a good reaction time or something (without even realising it); if he'd be untalented in those areas too then he'd be silver 3 at most

Honestly don’t worry about being good at cs, at the end of the day it’s just a video game and it’s having fun that matters the most, higher ranks are mostly full of tryhards or cheaters so it’s not fun anyway, at least in the lower ranks you can just play casually and have a laugh

Hello my name is not dimitri I am from Lithuania I have been playing cs:go for 10years and I am hard stuck in MG2 and I think I deserve Gold Nova 1 because I literally suck and I need your help Haix to solve my annoying problem.
As a DMG (Been stuck there for like 3 years, bouncing between MGE and LE) I'd say this guy belongs at about MG/MG2 ish. He sometimes has decent reactions, but he's very impatient, and treats a lot of engagements like deathmatches and forgets the objectives.
He's right where he belongs in my opinion.

I have played csgo for 3 years mostly now, got to faceit lvl 5 and MGE but deranked, i have spent hundread of hours watching videos about improving, DMs and retakes and even watched some of my demos. I have 44% winrate and avarage 1.16 HLTV rating in last 200 matches via Leetify. Right now i am Gold nova 4 because i literally fractured my right hand wrist and its in a cast(can send proof) and havent played last 3 weeks, i would love if you could check my last demos and say whats wrong, thanks!

I am gold nova master and I am hard-stuck gold, I have 2K hours and I was MG1 once, but then they add a new rank-up system, and since then I can't rank up to MG1 anymore. I am from Slovakia and my name is David I think I deserve a higher rank like MGE or even higher

Bruh, i played csgo for 300 hours and then stop playing for a whole 2 year, and after the rank update i still in silver, but then i play and got to gold nova relatively easy(because ive been playing csgo copy mobile game and get rly good at it)
My point is... Knowledge and gamesense is what makes u rank up

@@zeezFPS yup. I have the reverse situation: i have over 3k hours so gamesense and knowledge aren't the problem most of the time. I'm just very bad at aiming, no matter how much i play, so i get dunked on by 13yo's with deagle headshots every game. So im always stuck around gn1 - 2

If your stuck in silver aim is the problem, if you were decent at aiming and in silver you’d get 30 kills every game. All this flashing, tactics, teamwork etc don’t work in silver, just train aim and go kill.

Play a couple more matches, find some people who are decent enough or even better than you are and add them on steam after your game, it’s easy to make teammates and it’s impossible that you haven’t had a single good game or a single good teammate. Don’t be discouraged by being alone, it is hard to lead a disjointed team however dont also use that excuse as a crutch to why you can’t find good people to 2, 3, 4, or even 5 stack a lobby with, they’re out there!
