It’s been awhile since you made the video but first idle to high second the starter gear is a very weak point and last it sounds to me like an exhaust leak or timing chain not valves
have a 1985 trx 250 that has no neutral light or any other headlights working. Will not crank and run using the starter button. All fuses good. Can jump start selonoid and engine will run. the switch will cut engine off. the handlebar switch will also cut engine off. have power to switch, but still no lights. Any suggestions appreciated.
I got a 2005 trx250ex from one of my moms renters it has missing bolts off the fenders and some unplugged wires and 2 flat rear tires a cracked kill switch thats about it. She sold it to me for 50$ i might make some videos on it i will let everyone know who watches your video.

I paid 400 for one that didn't even have a carb on it. Wish I would've seen that one for sale lol

needs a timeing chain bud
I have the same one and the timing chain is gone theres no compression

I have the same exact 250 much better original everything, small tear in seat. mostly sat in shop barely use. got a wicked deal out of it.
