This was AMAZING!!! We cover this event every year and I have to say that it was my first time meeting/seeing Halestorm. Their set was by far my personal favorite...With this song touching me the most. Me and my wifes mothers both suffered from depression and ultimately took their own lives. "The Rose" is my mothers favorite song, and my wifes. I lost it when she did this song. AMAZING!!!
Lzzy Hale is one of the best vocalists out there at the moment - she can sing anything - see her quieter side when singing "The Silence" from their current album - there is a great video of herself a Joe doing an acoustic version on UA-cam - see Halestorm The Silence - live in Belfast.
My Grandad used to sing this as part of a male voice choir, the choir sang it for him at his funeral 💔 Amazing to hear you singing this #lzzyhale , you are incredible 💜
