I played a Montecito at my local music store yesterday and fell in love with it. A little quieter than some models but so mellow and plays smooth as silk.
just bought a monticeto .i think its christmas because it comes with a tuner set of strings and gigbag for 148.00 shipped brand new with waranty from fender dealer .they either are closing these out or a one time deal they had 15 they have 3 left
Hey! I’m thinking of buying the zuma one for my brother for Christmas - he has a tonne of guitars but only one or two cheap ukes that sound a bit tinny, do you think it’s worth the buy? Thanks!

It isn’t the loudest uke I’ve played, but it does play well and sounds great.
I want the Zuma uke. It’s a bit expensive but it looks and sounds so good!
Montecino is my favorite sounding one.
I like the look of the Montecito the most.
I bought a Fender California Coast Hermosa on FB marketplace. I can’t find another Hermosa anywheres?? Can you help?
I would keep an eye on both Reverb and eBay.
Thank you so much for this video!!! Just order my Montecito :)
I hope you enjoy it!

Wow. That seems like a sweet deal. Have fun with the uke.

I like the Zuma. If he likes Fender guitars, and especially Telecasters, he would love it. It has a sweet Tele headstock.
Some people complain because they say that the montecito lacks of volume. What do you think? Sorry my english sucks
When I played it, it seemed to have normal volume. But I don’t have it anymore. It was a loaner from Fender.
I own the montecito and I don’t notice any lacks of volume at all!
I just purchased the Montecito and it sounds as loud as any of my other ukuleles.
Dont worry your english is great
@@emilerios6635 thank you :)
which one is more suitable for kids 7 y.o? thanks
I would recommend a concert or soprano sized ukulele for a 7 year old.
@@CircuitsAndStrings Thank you will try that size!!
They sound fantastic!! (Scott) ;)
The montecito sounds amazing. For sure caught my attention.
It does sound great.
could anyone help please, my Fender concert MinoAka does not have a bright sound at all, can anyone suggest some strings that would help, thanks
If you want to have brighter sound, try some fluorocarbon strings. I like the Martin M600 strings.
thank you very much for the advice, I will check them out, keep on strumming
I wish they made the montecito in concert size. I really love it it’s so gorgeous but I don’t want a bigger uke than soprano or concert :(
Fender just announced some new ukuleles models last week at NAMM. Maybe they will have a concert or soprano that you like.
@@CircuitsAndStrings oh that I didn't know!!! Fingers crossed!!! Thank you!
great vid
Thanks!
Nice review, thanks!

What song is at 1:28? If possible, is there a tab for it? It sounds lovely!

What a song? 0:35
It’s part of a song that I wrote. But I have never named it.
@@CircuitsAndStrings it's a good song, do you have a tutorial?
The Fenders are so in tune don't worry about volume.
Are you having volume problems with a Fender uke?
@@CircuitsAndStrings No. Just bought two more. They are great.
Cool. I’m a big fan of Fender electric guitars. And I really like their ukuleles too. I’m a sucker for Tele style headstocks.
