- Welcome to my Red Dead Redemption 2 blind playthrough in 2024! RDR2 has been a game I've been so excited to play since I started this channel! This is my first time playing, full playthrough, full gameplay, first reaction, first impressions of Red Dead Redemption 2! I hope you enjoy my reactions to Red Dead Redemption 2! FYI, anything I "miss" in this first playthrough, I plan to finish up during the Wednesday UA-cam streams! We did it! Finished another incredible game, although I know I have so much more to explore and do! I'm excited to experience more with ya'll on the Wednesday streams! It'll be so fun! I'm also tempted to do a low honor playthrough now 👀 it would be super challenging for me! 😅😅

The problem with finishing a game like RDR2 is that it'll be years or perhaps never when you get to play something of this quality again.
There's many great games out there and still to be made, but this one is such a masterpiece that you'll compare everything else you play to it.
The story continues in RDR1. Plan to play that?
Now that game is just soul crushing. At one point she talked about “maybe getting closure from the first game”. Sadly not gonna happen.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is my all time favorite game that has been played throughout this channel. Way to go Liz❤
The game is so incredibly well written and the attention to detail is amazing. Like for example the entire game Abigail has been the one getting out of bed first in the morning, but John the rancher is now up before sunrise after proposing and starting the new life.
I agree: it would have been incredibly cool to catch a glimpse of the UFO in those final credits scenes. The UFO was the only thing in the game that was totally out of place, which made it all the more awesome.

Congratulations! It was so good making this journey with you and so satisfying to get to the end of it -- to finally put Micah down. I agree that it's disappointing to not be able to get Dutch, too, but he (among others) needs to be alive for RDR1.
You can go find everyone's graves and go see some of the old gang around. And if you can find the old campsites you can hear voices of everyone

What I did on my way up to face Micah, I would loot everyone I could. That why I would get more bullets & deadeye etc
An amazing game played by a favorite gamer! My only initial worry about you playing RDR2 was the animal hunting but in true Liz-style, you handled it all with compassion as usual and you clicked off all the Laundry list spots with the great game play.
No more 'Outlaws for Life', it's 'By Laws for Life' for John and Abigail (and the snort during the proposal was classic, as was the squeak on the mountain). The Final Charge up the mountain was a pain for Me, too - either My controller was slow or the guys in Micah's gang was so much better than anyone else encountered. The end credits were apt for a masterpiece of a game, plus planting the RDR1seed. There is so much to do/see outside main/side missions that in-depth streams are fully warranted and needed. Thank you so much!!!!!!
Very moving final RDR2 video episode, i am looking forward to the RDR2 streams. So glad I do not have to do laundry in the 1900s

Laundry, at the end credits you see Mary near Arthur's grave the voice actor of Arthur did the mocap for Mary it's kind of funny and yes you can watch the BTS it's great you have completed this awesome game from rockstar was amazing watching you play this Liz
The end credits with those two men in suits are indeed the Pinkertons. One of the men is Agent Ross which he was beside Agent Milton when they first met Arthur fishing with Jack. Ross will be a huge part of RDR1
1:11:40 wow never seen somebody attempt to kill Dutch here😂. Anyway, him shooting Micah and leaving all the money to John was his twisted way to apologize. He knew he messed things up and this was his own "redemption". I actually respect Dutch a lot for this
That was some laundry that needed done after that last mission.

This has been such a fun series to watch, Liz! RDR2 is a true masterpiece and watching you play it has been a joy! Now you have to play RDR1 as well! ☺

Dutch was like a father to John... even after what he did I don't think John would ever want to kill him. I'm glad the game doesn't let you shoot Dutch at the end that would have been so fucking awful

I'm a bit late to your final episode, but just wanted to say Ioved your journey!
The story missions that are left actually play out different as John, as apposed to Arthur. So it's worth hanging around a bit :)
There's a lot of extra closure to be found at different locations, like the Rhodes general store, the train station platforms of Valentine and Annesburg, and much more ... Might be a fun run for a live stream!
That gun fight up to Micah keeping your inner and outer core’s filled would of helped and using the repeater rifle

The woman you didn’t recognize was Mary-Beth! She became a writer and (probably) married. You can also still meet Tilly I think. You may also wanna visit the train station in Valentine. One of the Pinkertons was Ross, the one that was with Milton before Abigail killed him. I definitely would be interested in you steaming rdr2. Maybe also getting to 100% for the final end credit. Red dead online is cool too, you can design your own character i think you’d like it! I enjoyed this series sm it was nice seeing the game through someone else’s eyes, gets you closer to the experience of playing it for the first time again. Thank you sm!
At 1:28:00 they're trying to track down John. Them doing this in the credits ties RRD2 in as the prequel for RDR.❤

Hey Liz you mentioned wanting to get more background by playing red dead redemption...have some good news of you haven't already been told...Red Dead 2 is actually a prequel so if you start the first you'll be starting where you left off here.
You now have to play Red Dead Redemption 1...
really fun series to watch and enjoy and yes please please red dead redepmtion 1. Rockstart did a good job with the prequel RDR2 and how it would tie into RDR1. Plus RDR1 has a really fun DLC
1:03:45 because you asked hihi, no this wasn’t a difficult mission for me, but I always make sure I’ve stocked up on all health items and I’m not afraid to use them during missions. My favorite missions in this game are the big shootouts
That and maintained weapons plus the aim, tap up on L and shoot for head shots is better than dead eye when enemy are spread across the mountain side like they are.

You could keep playing and exploring the map as John and I’m glad you’re going to play again to 100% there is so much left to do and find. Red dead 1 keeps the story going for John, Abigail and Jack and some others ,look forward to you playing it. At least visit all the graves from jenny to Arthur maybe do a live stream to do this and some other Easter eggs

My gosh Liz. I must have told you 27 times, pistols & revolvers are only for close quarters. Rifles & repeaters are for longer distances. Pistols & repeaters have bugger all accuracy over 25 yards.
It is the world's toughest mission when you use the wrong weapons & don't eat to replenish your health

Buuut, I swear that the gang's rat since before the beginning of the game was Durtch.
imo, he made a deal with Agt Milton (who went rogue) in Blackwater. The deal consisted of Dutch giving up or killing his crew and the Blackwater money went into Milton's pocket. He told Micah before Colton and Micah brought Colm in on the deal, that's why Micah and John split up on the mountain, that's how Micah found Sadie's house, and that's why Dutch let Colm go before killing his crew.
Molly THOUGHT she gave up the gang, Milton lied to Arthur... etc.
Frankly, I forget all the evidence that supports my hypothesis
28:44 " Let's go to the lake" aka " let's go to make out point" lol. 43:40 Nah, when it comes to avenging Arthur, I was ruthless with that rat bastard. 47:52 Dang, all those times in the past that you took huge amounts of damage to grab your hat instead of fighting, and the one time it actually counted ( he's wearing Arthur's hat on this mission) you look for like 1 second and go on without it lol. Also you were so under prepared for this lol nothing to boost your health cores, only a few healing items, this one is so hard because the game assumes you've gotten healing items and are geared up for a tough fight. There's some stuff where you'd have to go through the story from where ever your save file is and epilogue again, because John can go back and talk to people that Arthur helped for unique dialogue, I strongly suggest going back and doing all the veteran " guy with the wooden leg" side quests with Arthur again because there are some beautiful moments for Arthur, then play until the epilogue again and visit him as John for some special stuff. Same with the widow who was on her own that Arthur taught to hunt, do her quests and go back as John. Also as john you can go back and find the graves of the gang members who died, and meet up with the ones who lived and got out out too, for instance Tilly can be found Saint Denis.Also you can go to where Arthur is buried, it exists in the map.

I gotta say it was a bit painful to watch you butcher that last mission lol. anyways you have no idea how much content is left in the game. it is a great idea to stream it but I feel like maybe 1 or 2 more videos wouldn't hurt before you start streaming. just get some hints (to avoid spoilers) from the comments and go to those places. I am crazy enough to suggest you go to Guarma as John (yes there is a way) but thats a bit complicated, its only for "advance" players.
Play the first one next. It takes place after this game.
Your controller isn't acclimated for mt. Hagens climate. Kept freezing up.😂 Weapon choice was problem. Used pump shotgun/bolt action rifle and reached Micah 1st time with no problems. Once there, it took 4-5 times to figure out.
I used a maintained repeater and duel wield 1899 pistols. Made it my first time all 3 play throughs. I also made sure my character is fit or overweight to sustain less damage in my game play since stamina and dead eye items dont effect the gold medal like health does.

The Deer that shows when Arthur passes away is Arthurs sprit Animal if he has high honor. If he has low honor it's a wolf I agree with you about Saint Deni I hated that place and the surrounding area. The Lady and Man at the pier is Mrs Downes and her Son. they used the money Arthur gave them and went into business

Any satchels crafted by Arthur have to be re-equipped as John. Before starting a mission make sure your stocked up health items, ammo and clean your weapons.

Congratulations on finishing this Liz, what an awesome journey it has been! I am going to restart this weekend, go for a 100 percent completion run. It’s going to take a looooong time, but I’m not ready to say goodbye to Red Dead Redemption yet. I’m pretty sure I did all the side missions besides the Widow one because it glitched for me. Oh and this runs so well for me on the Steam Deck! It has crashed just a few times, but the game autosaves a ton so I didn’t lose much progress.
Anyway, I can’t wait for the livestreams, I hope the backseating won’t be too bad but at least there’s not much that can be spoiled anymore 🩷 Just a heads up if you look up lore, most of it includes spoilers for Red Dead Redemption 1.
Yeah.. I'm at 3700+ hrs now on 3rd run because I forgot to grab Granger's revolver on my 2nd time. Still playing without guides but thinking I'm about to need them. I'm at 97.4% and have been there for the last 200 hrs😰
