wow the prices have doubled but at least it is free shipping now so i guess it is still a reasonable price. did the original strap have stabilizer strap or did only the mk3 come whith that?
Ambiance the prices have definitely increased. I think it’s because they are still manufactured in-house yet the demand is much higher so it makes sense. The original strap did not come with the stabilizer strap! The second one did!
Do you know any other budget messenger bag with a 3 point sling system? The shipping to Europe is just to expensive for a bag of this price point and I was not able to find a different bag like this wich fits the style
Not that I know of. However it should be easy to make one if you have access to a sewing machine. with one buckle and some straps/ Velcro, one should be able to be made. The Patagonia atom sling back isn't a messenger but has a 3-point sling. I honestly don't use the stabilizer strap all that often.
It came with my Mk III sling ( I think they have a version without it) or you can buy the stabilizer strap on its own (like $8) and add it to any of their straps.
thanks for that nice video! i like that you used cm instead of inch - SI units ftw! great to see some more explaining b-roll - show, dont tell. there is some traffic noise though, so i assume you took botht he video and audio track from the on-body b-roll. or is that background noise from the original clip? it certainly is more prominent in the fit section. as to the fit pictures themselves - the IG pic and the thumbnail set the expectation of seeing you in the yellow jacket in this video, at least i would have loved to see you moving with that bag in the video itself. thats a bit of a bummer to not have met that expectation. be mindful of what you put into your thumbnails, since its really great to meet the expectation the viewer got through the thumbnail. on the water rinse test the bag is a bit out of frame at times while you explain which parts got hit by water the hardest - what kind of camera do you use ? do you have a monitor to help you out in these situations? thats always suboptimal. i can understand that you didnt want to shell out buckets of water on your balcony, but if you only have one take, then try to make it count - next time nt his situation maybe just point with your fingers onto areas of the bag so you dont lose the focus on the bag. as to the straps - i like both. aesthetically i like the mk2 strap more, since the asymmetry of the straps is something i always found interesting at the acnm/bagjack bags, which i totally cannot afford atm. the functionality of the extra strap on the mk3 strap is a thing i can experience in daily wear with my 5.11 rush delivery lima, but as that bag is really wide the extra stabilizer strap sometimes gets in the way and is annoying. on the other hand side the asymmetrical strap doesnt give any stability except the one through gravity. i am in conversation with orbit gear though and chances are i will do a review on one of their products as well sooner or later, - so my opinion can change over time.
Thanks man! I'm trying to use units of measurements that are known more worldwide since only about 39% of my views are from the United States. I tried to eliminate the traffic noise as much as possible but hopefully in the near future I'll be able to upgrade sound equipment. I use the microphone built into the Canon EOS rebel T5. I'm saving that yellow jacket for another vid, mate ;) I might switch to the Mk2 strap soon since I like the look of it and how it's a bit wider. Luckily i can just easily switch over the stabilizer strap! In hindsight I wouldn't have ordered the mk3 strap, but I didnt want to risk not ordering it and regretting not and having to pay International shipping again for a small item. I would definitely recommend the shoulder pad if you plan on carrying substantial weight, but for most days it's not needed. I really like Orbit's new belt they just put out, as well as the "foil" messenger bag.
I have not seen the blackhawk in person, but its the same basic messenger bag. the R202-blackhawk has upgraded buckles in comparision to the R202- blackeagle
Really got me with that fast one
Just ordered the last Blade Raven they had in stock with the AXIS Mk III, pretty stoked
I dig the black raven! I regret not getting their chest rig

@@corbincore I got the bag and it now came with the new strap with stabilizer. That is why it is more expensive.
Great video, currently there's none in stock but hopefully they restock soon bc this is a must cop
I missed out on it the first time around and had to wait for the restock!
And Thank You!!
