So much respect for the Pathfinder love, it really doesn't get the attention it deserves compared to 5e, and really great to see WotR get the praise it deserves x3 Gods this was so fucking adorable to listen to, like genuinely there are few things lovelier than getting to share in a loved one's interests, especially with the level of passion that an infodump brings. Fuck if the texture, touch, and overstim details weren't spot on though... I was in tears over how real and gutting you made that portion come across, especially with the concerns over spoiling the date and feeling like an inconvenience. You really captured just how heartbreaking that can feel, while also demonstrating perfectly how wonderful and impactful it is to have a loved one show the patience and understanding of our needs when in a situation like this. As unpleasant as the overstim portion was, you did a phenomenal job balancing that out with how delightful the infodump was, and really getting to the heart of just how much it means to an autistic partner to feel so understood and loved. Thank you so much for making this Fae, it really means a lot to get to see such a wonderful depiction of autistic acceptance and love!!!
My instinct to protect kicked in when she started getting over stimulated. I would have been asking "what can i do to help?" I don't know if I'm autistic but i definitely relate to a lot of autistic experiences with sensory issues like certain textures making me want to remove my skin to cleanse my body of its grossness, i always have a way to listen to music on me so that i can block out all the chatter because i am unable to tune things out so if there's like 4 different conversations happening in an area it's not indistinct chatter it is now 4 seperate conversations i have to process simultaneously plus any random environmental sounds like a ticking clock or an electrical hum that most people apparently don't pay any attention to, smells also can give me headaches so some asshole wearing perfume can ruin my whole day just be being in the same building as me because now i have a headache and if i dare say anything they just be an ass to me about something that is causing me physical pain that they inflicted because apparently if you can't see the issue outwardly then it doesn't exist. Oh I'd like to tell those kinda people their own bullshit when they have a brain tumor because then maybe they'd realize how bullshit that is. Rant aside, cute audio, relatable character, must protecc.

So perish. /j It's really down to preference. My experience with PF1e is some of Kingmaker and WotR, but I found it a bit too intricate. My PF2e experience is an intro game and reading the handbook, and I find it to be better streamlined while still having great build depth. I pitched it to my friends for our 2nd campaign, but half of them are very casual and the other half is neutral, so we're doing D&D5e again, but I'm homebrewing extra mechanics for bosses. Regardless, I understand why PF1e appeals to people, and it's perfectly valid. May I now cross your hill without anyone dying?

That's always the trouble, isn't it? The evil options are so cool, but it's so hard to be mean to these characters you care about. I did a demon playthrough once, but only barely did enough evil to qualify, and ended up switching to gold dragon as soon as I got the chance lol.
@FlawlessFae I flat out had to stop playing demon after you slap irabeth that shit ACTUALLY hurt my soul, but I hear going demon -> golden dragon is actually one of the most fitting path changes in the game and is really well told so I might have to try it again
@@FlawlessFae lich kinda tricked me because there's nothing SUUUUPER evil you do before act 3 it's all kinda just comedically evil foreshadowing and the lich mentor you get is really petty and funny so I was blindsided when the EVENT with Irabeth happened and having to deal with Anevia afterwards made me just stop

I've played so many ttrpgs at this point, but Lancer is absolutely one of my faves. I played this former engineer who became a pilot to avenge her wife, did lots of nuclear cavalier tokugawa shenanigans AND got to roleplay some delicious angst. Good times
