So relatable, the insurance vent lol. Hope your migraine medication does work wonders though 🤍 my sister has those and it is tough.

Your poor sister, dealing with those can be so tough. The one strange thing about my migraines is that is almost seems like Ike and Lincoln know when I'm sick and they will just lay in bed all day with me. Kind of comforting to be honest!

I love sensory deprivation floating. It’s so relaxing. I usually fall asleep during a float

Hi Sarah migraine is miserable 😭. I had migraines every month for many years as part of my menstrual cycle (probably due to the severe endometriosis and recurring fibroids, but maybe “just” hormones). Thankfully they lessened in frequency now I’m menopausal. However the Pregabalin I get for my back has also made a huge difference and I haven’t had one since starting it several months ago 🎉🎉🎉. Codeine and a dark room was the only thing that helped during the migraine itself for me (morphine did not work at all btw). I can sympathise with anyone having regular migraines as they were debilitating.
Onto the cream- I hadn’t heard of this release before, but I tend to like face and body creams for my dry skin on the face (they tend to be richer than a lot of face specific products). Best wishes x

So nice to see your name pop up! 😉 It does seem like migraines tend to be more common in women than men. I do think for a few of my really, really bad migraines they gave me some sort of codeine or dilaudid - those were a few times I ended up in the ER after dealing with them for a few days straight. Thank goodness I haven't had that happen in a long, long time. It does seem like they have lessened a bit now that I've been exercising more, also trying to remember to drink more water as well. Really happy with this body cream, as I have been with most of this brand's products overall!

My sister and nephew had excellent results with the botox for migraines. Plus, she uses the rest of the bottle for her 11's and anywhere else. She said, "You're paying for the full bottle." Smart doctor😉💗

Oooh that is amazing, So lucky they found an amazing doctor! I must say, my dad looks ten years younger since they started his botox for migraines. I wonder if they are doing this for him, too?!?!

@NOBSBeauty Well, I think a lot of the same muscles are paralyzed anyway. But, yeah, she gets the rest.

LOL I have the same attention span as u . I can't go to the movie theater at all heck cant watch one at home . My husband says don't u ever sit still. I have tried several things for migraines and the only thing that has actually helped is sumatriptlyn and that doesn't prevent it just helps it go away when I get it. I pay like 15$ per 9 pills that is the prescription so I go through few a month and u go online and get the coupon or they will try to charge u 90$ for 9 pills . My Dr also told me to take magnesium. I find hands are better for massage on the face then those tools .

Ooh good tip on the Magnesium- that was one of the first things my neurologist mentioned was magnesium and B12. Everything about health care is so frustrating- I'm also going to have to search online for a coupon and see if that helps.

Sometimes the doctor has to go back and fight them when they first reject you. Like you have to have them resubmit so insurance can pay. I had some for my jaw pain and even with insurance I paid a few hundred dollars.

Insurance is always such a headache to deal with. There has to be a better solution, not that I know what that might be, but it seems like so many people have issues with navigating it.

That's so funny I've been dealing with the same migrane situation, but to my surprise the last neurology visit they did a botox "sample" for FREEEE...and my forehead is definitely smoother. It's a ton of units..like 155.. way more than if done for cosmetic reasons and I felt kinda crazy afterwards, I read it's sort of like a flu symptom due to amount injected, but that went away after like a week. not sure if it's helped with migraine quite yet but seems better couple weeks in. They also have me on qulipta samples, which is another drug you can only get after trying everything else. I was skeptical of the older drugs because of the side effects and being anti depressants, so they gave me a bunch of samples for now instead. Honestly I'm not sure if I would do the botox again because it made me feel so terrible , which I'm surprised by!

Sounds like you have a great doctor! I'm so jealous! Instead of doing Botox they prescribed me a medication not covered by insurances (it is about $3,000 a month) 😂😂 Yep, not going to fill that one, it is more than my mortgage, car payment, and insurance, hehe! I wonder if next time you do it that it won't affect you that way? My dad has had such great luck with it over the past two years. Keep me posted on how it goes for you, I'm hoping you have continued success with it, migraines are the worst.

Oh thank you so much! I figure they probably want to try many alternatives before prescribing anything that costs the insurance company a pretty penny... Hopefully on my next visit I'll be able to find some other options.
