Just had the grom out yesterday and almost have 1000 miles so far in the short time I've owned it. I also did get to ride a cb500f and I also tried out the nx500 as well just to compare the different riding positions. But still probably going the 500f. Now I just need to find one in stock lol. The one I test rode was a used one that had a bunch of stuff done to it I didn't like, but I think I could find a better price on a used one than what that dealer wanted for it.
@motorhead45102 Gotta get as much riding in as possible! Hopefully you can track one down, I was about to buy a z500 until this cb500 popped up, they don't seem to stay in stock very long. Good luck!!
@@MoustacheRides alot of the dealers always seem to have the nx500 in stock lol. The one by my house said they are probably not getting a 500f till next year. They let me ride the nx500(think they really wish I would buy it lol). I like the looks of the 500f more though however a bunch of older guys at work like the nx500. I did fit fine on both the f and the nx and it seems if I go with a 24 500f it will have pretty much the same dash and controls as the nx.
is the cb500f new rider friendly? i have zero riding experience and would like to hear what somebody who rides one has to say. the little research i've done has given me very mixed answers so im unsure
@rehabッ I can confidently say it's new rider friendly and would highly recommend it. The only prior riding experience I had was the safety course, which I recommend as well. The bike is easy to maneuver, clutch is forgiving, enough power to take on the highway. The weight is similar to a 650 so you'll be familiar with a bike of that size should you move up later.
@ thank you, i was definitely gonna take the course but this was very helpful! i also looked at your channel and saw that you were fairly new too, but don't look it at all! love the content g🫡
