love the Böker Barlows, class leading in price for quality. I have 4 of these Böker Barlows, two with integral copper ... great gentleman knives ! I have some GEC here and several Böker, I consider Böker to be even superior to GEC, cheers

I just went to a presentation for their new line up and was very suprised about how good their prices still are (because everybody else is increasing prices significantly this year).
To each his own, I suppose. Although for me, I'd carry one of these anyday over a SAK. Not because one is "better" than the other, but because the Barlow fits my desire for a classy carry piece with a certain degree of luxe. I'm not saying Swiss Army Knives are bad, by any means, but they don't have the class of a Böker Barlow. Different knives, different roles. Cheers!

The quality on them is admirable, particularly for their prices. I just tend to be a little more...pretentious. Whether or not that's a good thing? I got the one in yellow bone, I was very disappointed in the amount of knife for the money, but it is a very fine and well made Barlow.
It's a small knife. More of a dress-carry instead of a main EDC. Although I could be wrong.

I just don't think Boker is a good value for what you get, their price increases seem to out pace other brands.
I have to disagree. They aren't any higher than the average GEC or such. Besides, you can actually find them.

SAK can fit anybody's budget wether you're rich or poor and if you loose it no big deal
