This sends me Super Smash Flash flashbacks. No, not the good one, the really old one from 2006. Never had Melee, so I played the shit out of that while I waited for Brawl to come out. Awesome job on this!
+Overlord99 I don't remember exactly where I got them, but it was with a pack of a bunch of different NES games, and I believe the snare is from Crisis Force.
everuyhing you fucking do is great you are like a hidden potential warrior amongst the youtube.. land, you dhould really put yourself out there man because you're fucking awesome.
This is awesome - song, this project and Famitracker - you can actually create very interesting music and with Vocaloid so many possibilities xD I wonder how long it took you to recreate this song
Holy shit does this sound clean... I'd love to imagine a bootleg company pasting Hummer Team's Street Fighter port with this music on their shitty cartridges lmfao Fr tho this is a banger...
Quick question from a learning chiptune musician, why are you constantly changing the speed in the DPCM channel? Amazing work by the way, I look up to you so much.
The NES 2A03 runs at 60hz, which means you can only use tempos that are multiples of 30. Using tempos that aren't a multiple of 30 will cause timing issues, so to get a speed of, for instance, 1.5, you'd have to alternate between 1 and 2 constantly. Hope this helps.
Hey dude - we run a Melee-focused weekly podcast called analog, and wanted to reach out to see if it would be possible to use your music for the show! Let us know/dm us - love the cover.
VinylCheese That would be awesome. Remember, the MSX version translated to VRC6. The soundtrack is most accurate if you download AudioOverload64 from Zophar's Domain and then download the MSX soundtrack.
I dream of making covers sound this clean
Me too
Try the Snes, it’s very clear, clean and crisp. Even better than the Genesis
Same. I just got openMPT and I hope I can make something cool with it soon.
@@firestriker3580 Better than the Genesis? You’re comparing apples to oranges.
@@Ablaire well the snes soundchip can output way better audio then genesis
Triangle: is generally a good bass
VinylCheese: *NO*
@psdominator But when combined with the sawtooth.
50 square is good too tbf

Oh yeah, and I've been meaning to ask: Where are those DPCM samples from? I'd like to give 'em a try.
+Overlord99 I don't remember exactly where I got them, but it was with a pack of a bunch of different NES games, and I believe the snare is from Crisis Force.
+Overlord99 Oh yeah, and the sample speed is 13 in this song.
+VinylCheese Ah, I'll look into that then. Thank you!
Also congrats 420 subs make a snoop dogg remix please

Glad ya like it!
+Tpcool Pretty sure this is the actual speed of the song in Melee.
+Sam Kostka Oh absolutely, I was just referring to the speed of the song in Famitracker. cause when the video plays the tracker goes by superfast :o
I LOVE THIS.
I'd like to see something from you every day if you could!
Thanks!
Great job on these covers

I wish to be this good, great cover!
AWESOME
Dude, this is fire! 🤯
Do you do these covers by ear, or do you use a midi file/sheet music?
By ear.
That's crazy! I wish I knew how to pick apart music like that.
How do you get so good at doing that? I'm impressed.
SpeedySPCFan Do you mean copying by ear?
VinylCheese
Yeah.
everuyhing you fucking do is great you are like a hidden potential warrior amongst the youtube.. land, you dhould really put yourself out there man because you're fucking awesome.
Have you ever heard of spellchecking?
why cant the new smash bros games have music that arent just remixes of the main theme!?!?!?!?!
I remember watching my older brother trying to hit that sandbag as far as possible for hours on end.
Dude this is amazing
An oscilloscope view is in the making

I already felt it's Melee at the start. Because it's speed, Melee indeed.

GOD DAMN THIS SOUNDS GOOD
Awesome

This sounds awesome!!!
The best out there geez!
Hey, can we use this in a Smash 4 modpack called 4xM? You'll be credited. Btw, this sounds really good lol.
Reminds me of the Lucky Channel from the radio in Pokemon Gold, with more base for extra awesomeness.
its just so....good...
Holy shit does this sound clean...
I'd love to imagine a bootleg company pasting Hummer Team's Street Fighter port with this music on their shitty cartridges lmfao
Fr tho this is a banger...
the one dislike missed a target
My target test would include targets behind walls and up in the air over the edge of the stage.
This high-key sounds like a Wily Stage
That's good
could you do a cover of Flat Zone from Melee?
*Genowhirl70's 'Meat Your Match' intensifies*
Heeey, das pretty good!
That's really cool :D
super dope

This is fucking awesome!
If is posible, can you cover a VRC7 version? :p
fun fact: this software is really fucking hard to use it's not fancy stuff like fl studio or some shit
Sounds like a theme from classic Street Fighter or some other old school arcade fighting game

Is this how companies make video game music
Well...back then
@@Merx_308 Back then it didn't exist so no

sorry if this is really late, but how would I go about converting a .ftm to a .ogg or something similar?
nvm just exported it again from FTM as a wav, amazing work though!
@@worsedoughnut ffmpeg -i output.wav -c:a libopus -b:a 128k output.opus
Where is the 10 hour version though?
wooooooow like 😉
I actually replaced this remix with the original in my Melee xd
I think you ment that sentence the other way around dude.
I just tried to pause the video with enter.
Can you do the OST from Final Fantasy (MSX) on VRC6?
Maybe! Sounds possible.
