Hi David! It's so good to see this new update and the other two weeks ago. I'm hoping that you'll be posting updates on a regular basis again because I've really missed your railroad and I'd love to be able to see your progress on making changes to the yard. Lots after that to work on, I'm sure. Hope we all get to see the trains run too. But most of all, I hope you have fun working on your great layout.
I see that you're big fan of the Santa Fe locomotives, I see a lot of GP-38s with the classic yellow and blue livery. You also have some variety as well which makes it seem more realistic! Props to you sir
Main yard ballast is Senic Express mixture of their dark and light gray plus about 40% of their dirt and the main lines is Arizona Rock And Mineral Mauve n scale ballast
I cannot understand why ANYONE would ever willingly model an American railway. Very ugly railways, and rolling stock, doing just the minimum to fit in with towns and villages, leaving the landscape as very unfriendly to the wildlife. Why not do a European layout? The rolling stock is much more attractive and not controlled by much by pure financial costs, the areas are landscaped after a new line has been built. The US is a damned ugly place.
That a real nice Yard, Lot's of usable space.
Thanks
