Been enjoying it bro. I did struggle a little bit. But people failed to understand that you need the fragments to be able to get stronger to even dps bosses. People didn’t read nor understand that. That’s why they’re getting destroyed.

Beat the lion at +0 and I was getting one shotted. I just played it again at +6 and I’m still getting one shotted. Fragments don’t do anything
Now this is not me getting on the side of the quiters or bad players but on my discord filled with vererans of soulsborn said that theres a fundamental mistake in the dlc that from never made, that is forcing in a single playstyle of a shield its not that they are bad, but that we would like to be able to beat the game with the build we are trying and yes it is a flaw in game design but the main problem is not how agressive but the recovery speed of their combos is too fast
The bosses seems to be made with a mentality for a game like sekiro where deflecting and ligrhing fast reflexes were king but thata the point this is not sekiro just a little statistic on the microcosm on this problem.based on the discord 95% of ye discord was.forced to change their builds for. Shield spear the other 5% already where playing like that in a discord of over 1k people and thats the problem we are colectivelly seeing is not that the game is bad is just that it feels and plays like a total different game.

Made it all the way to the end with no shield it's a skill issue
The vast majority of negative reviews are on steam and they are predominantly Chinese users mad that they can’t cheat or pay2win. If you turn off non English reviews the score goes to 80 something percent positive.

"art" is a term used by people with no cohones that cannot objectively quantify the qualities of a product. "art" in the mouths of elden ring enjoyers is a butchered weaponized term that has nothing to do with artistry.
Whoever is in charge of the design of Elden ring DOES DESERVE the review bombing, and the company needs to be shut down, as all the actual talented people that are now hostage there are free to get hired somewhere else where their talent is used to build games people actually want to play.
