Being able to make a custom playbook is a game changer for me and the fact that you can save your audibles is fantastic. I was so frustrated having to change my audibles every time I played a game that I gave up and just started dealing with the stock ones. Now no more stress and aggravation. The suggestions are nice becuase based on what it suggests, u know there using trips / Bunch etc before huddle breaks since u can choose those situations in the script
Personnel might tell you 3WR. Suggestion will tell u Bunch, trips if you make it suggest 1 play for each kinda thing

Still struggling with using custom playbooks in Madden 24, PS5. I was able to follow along and create both a Custom Offense (SF Offense) and Custom Defense (Ravens). I"ve saved, and do see both Custxxxx playbooks if I go back into the creation screen. However if I start Franchise, there is no option for Advanced Settings. If I start a Franchise by picking SF, when I scroll through either the Offensive or Defensive Playbooks, only the teams' individual playbooks appear, I don't see either of the two CUSTxxxx playbooks that I created. I'm sure I've screwed something up or missed a step. I just completed Season 2051 on Madden23 using custom playbooks. So far not liking Madden24,with the issues with the playbooks, and the two times I've attempted to play a Franchise Game in Madden both games interrupted with an EA Server problem.
Any ideas as to why the CUST playbooks aren't showing up wnen I try to change playbooks in Franchise Mode?

@@wayne6578 In the Settings I picked 49ers as Favorite Team, and saved CUSTOM49er Offensive Playbook, and CUSTOMRAVE for my Defensive Playbook. Neither showed up once I entered the Franchise Mode and started my new Franchise with SF. I was able to change my Schemes, and use SF Offense and Raven Defense, but not my Custom Playbook. In Madden23 I really didn't need that many different plays, so the Custom Playbook was the only way to keep from having to scroll through so many sets & plays that you would never use (who really needs 163 Shotgun formation plays, and how would you ever scroll through them without Delay of Game). Custom Playbooks are great when they work. Just can't seem to get them to work in Madden24 for me yet.
I appreciate the video, as it was very clear how to create them. It's just once I entered Franchise Mode, I didn't have the "Advanced Option" square like you had on your screen when you clicked head-to-head. Once i started my Franchise, those Custom playbooks did not appear like they did on your screen. Only the canned teams playbooks, no customs.
Im wanting to use a running power game with scrambling qb i have OT as TE i have a big full back and 2 different power backs
My plan is too control the clock and where out the defense . I have extra power lineman so i can change out anyone fatigued
Having trouble getting the Shotgun- Doubles formation to show up once I go into a game or practice. But, I already I have it saved in my custom playbook. A lot of my favorite plays are in that set. Any recommendations?
Yes sometimes when you add plays that have simular name formations, it will glitch out! You will have to get rid of the other simular named ones.

Yes sometimes when you add plays that have simular name formations, it will glitch out! You will have to get rid of the other simular named ones.

@@jamessepulveda189 use any of my schemes with the run plays, run and see if your opponent has run defense, if not destroy him with the run, only pass if needed. when you do have a good pass plays that beat every defense. Do you ever get criticism for using a “custom playbook” when playing online? I can see why some people would not like playing people with them if they’re *only* using cheese or money plays that glitch defenses. But assuming if you use in good faith as part of a scheme they’d be fine.
Some advice is to do what you want, I give a care less what other people think, play the way you want to, why play the way others say you should, do you I always do me! #teamsmackem

@@wayne6578 I was just in franchise mode and wanted to change a few plays in a playbook. I had to save the franchise, leave the franchise, to to settings, go to the creation center, find the plays, change them, then save the playbook, get out of the creation center, get out of settings, and then load the franchise. Part of the issue is I’m on ps4 which I’m sure is slower than 5 but that is so many stupid steps when you used to just be able to edit and save your playbook in your franchise
