One great episode that will help. Only question about those screens and outside runs if they still in M24 are a trouble ??
Love to play in CPUvsCPU so the AI rules or sucks with the correct playbook and gameplan
Screens aren’t as big of a problem but the outside run like toss plays still seems to fail quite a bit in cpu vs cpu
I disagree, screens are STILL a HUGE problem in Madden 24 in AI matchups.. at least they are for the players team.. computer opponent executes them just fine.. So annoying. 😮💨@@CBGamingYT7
Coming from playing ncaa 14 to getting into madden 23 the star rating system is a headache. It’s cool how plays get rated higher than others depending on the situation but I feel like I spend way more time making a playbook
That is 100% true. The UI is not optimized very well for creating and organizing in my opinion. Plus the situations are too generic, need more detailed scenarios to gameplan for!
Thank you I really needed this because I messed up my custom a few weeks ago and it only shows one play for coach suggestion it was so annoying because I wasn’t to educated with the customs just seemed like a lot at the time

Ok I just found your channel and I love it cause this is how I play with my friends cpu Vs cpu with my best friend for decades.. my issue is how can you play against each other with two different custom playbooks cpu Vs cpu without actually playing the game and having both of our cpu playing against each other with our customs playbooks?
You can't in user vs user leagues. The game doesn't allow you to set them unless you are both playing the game and individually select them before starting the game
Do you play on ps4, and do you have a franchise league looking for one to join
In this case, would matching schemes to playbooks really matter? Say I take a Zone Run Playbook for the formations, but change to power based, I'd want to run a Power Scheme, right?
Note: I play CPU v CPU
I always try to match schemes to ensure the players I have will be able to run the plays I've chosen properly but sometimes you can use whatever scheme you want and it can still work.
@@CBGamingYT7 Can you please do one of these for defense? Specifically the "game planning" with the stars for CPU vs CPU. The situations aren't as strait forward as 1st down or 3rd and short. All the you tube videos about defensive playbooks are about how to use one or a few plays to break the game playing as a user.
If I control all 32 teams can I use custom playbooks for cpu teams
That would be tough, idk if there is a way to do that properly.
Yea it's unfortunate that you can't put custom playbooks with the cpu in owner mode 32 team user control I tried to put the cpu in a good scheme hopefully this helps
How do you import it in franchise mode, I made my own playbook and then went to my franchise and checked and it wasn’t there
You can't set it in the schemes tab but you can select it from the game screen when you are going to enter the game. Advanced settings allows you to change playbooks, it should be at the end of the list
How do you play your custom? Is it just the HUM team or just CPU how do you decide gets the custom? or is there a way to have both teams?
Once you create the book it is selectable under the advanced settings in the game screen. If you want to have both teams use one you can but you will need either multiple consoles or 2 controllers so you can add it to the other team
@CB Gaming Everytime I try 2 customs the 2nd controller team the players doesn't appear on screen. This is inside cfm offline.
@@hubiesutton5568exactly I’m still trying to learn this for the last 5 years cause it’s unfair for you to have a custom but your friend have to use a stock playbook help?

i play on pc slow sim and when i create a playbook to my liking and set it to be used the cpu sometimes randomly punts the ball on first or second down and i get all these weird glitches any advice ?
that is strange, I have honestly never seen that happen before. I wish I had an answer for you! When you do that on PC do you use the in game change or do you pull the playbooks out and edit them before adding the file back to the game?
Can you edit special teams plays?
Unfortunately no. You can edit punt and field goal but nothing else

Does anyone already participate in or is interested in making a Coach MOD league? Meaning you can only call the plays, but not allowed to control the players. PC or PS4...
Do you mean like super sim slow play league?
@@CBGamingYT7 No. There is an option in settings, use to be called coach MOD but is called total control now (I think). Once you hike the ball (if you dont attempt to control the player) the computer will take over and control the QB. Its close to a sim league but if Im correct you can only do slow Sim in solo games. Coach MOD games allow 2 players to play a game by only picking the plays they want to run but not being a "user" by controlling any of the players. But you really need a league where you can trust people not to attempt to cheat. If no ones interested in that, Id be down for a Super Sim Slow league if you know any that have an opening.
