- The Megyn Kelly Show host Megyn Kelly joins Sky News host Paul Murray to discuss how former House speaker Nancy Pelosi led the “ruthless” efforts to convince US President Joe Biden to step down as the Democratic nominee.
Biden on Sunday afternoon local time officially ended his bid for re-election following mounting pressure for him to drop out after his disastrous debate performance against Donald Trump.
“What slowly started to happen over the past three weeks was Nancy Pelosi, former House speaker, who's really apparently the ruler of the Democratic Party, stuck the knife in just a little at first, and by the end, she had it on a full twist.
“The reporting by top reporters who covered Democrats … is that she essentially said, this is going to get far more painful in the days to come unless you go.
“So we knew it was coming and it did come. And it just shows that these Democrat politicians are absolutely ruthless when it comes to winning elections.”
So democrats just ousted a party nominee without any due process, very telling.
