What a lovely leaving message from Pedro. We all know how good he can be, and a good deal for him and the club. Wolves do have the opportunity now to improve the squad in a number of positions and not have the threadbare squad of last season. Many reasons to feel positive about the new season.
Neto has been a great servant to our club for 5 years where he has had his ups and downs in games he played for us just hope it all goes well for him in the future and everyone make sure you give him a nice applause when he comes back to the golden palace but we are a wide forward down as a near replacement for him but i say we have Rodrigo Gomes who is going to be next Pedro Neto at the club when we can can get him near to how he played for us with a few tweaks so it will be big boots for him to fill, but with money we have we need 3 to 4 experience PL players to fill the gaps.
I'm so glad I had the opportunity to meet Neto during their USA tour. Being at the sport store upon to 2nd kit being shown, the question asked by a young Wolves fan struck me as odd but fair. The young fan asked Neto if he was leaving the club and, he looked uncomfortable yet, firm ish that he might not leave Wolves even though rumors were ripe. I hope he stays healthy and I wish him all the best except for the two games against Wolves.
Absolutely agree this is another Neves moment, but also in the way that you felt he wanted to stay but went for both career and the good of the club. Class player and person, we will cheer him but hope he has 2 quiet games every year.....
Lovely leaving message. That's all fans can ask really, just to show a bit of respect. He has been a fantastic player (when fit) we gave given him this opportunity thats allowed him to become an international and now earn a small fortune. He is one of my favourite players of this era, Neves was my favourite, and I used to think Jota was such a good player - but Neto brought that end product and he was such a bubbly personality. Let's hope Hobbs can spend the money well.
A great loss of a fantastic player Very sad day for wolves Fan's He always had you off your seat with his burst of pace that no defence could handle I can only wish him nothing but the very best in his new Chapter going forward Chelsea have a massive player on there hands who is on his day Just unplayable Can't praise this player enough for what he has gave us at Wolves so sad to see him leave like losing Raul, Neves,Jota, Moutiniho, all world class player's and deserve to play at the very top Go win Trophies Pedro the World is your oyster From a Wolf to a Wolf 🐺 Always Wolves 🧡🖤🐺
Dave we had netto for 4 year or 5 we didn't pay alot for him and hope he as a great career at Chelsea he loves Wolverhampton and the club if its wasn't for the injuries we would have got 80 million for him players cu and go good luck to him thanks for the news Dave always wolves
As a wolves fan I say good luck Pedro I wish you well for the future..Unfortunately I see us as Just an Acadamy Club for the big six Clubs who are just trying to buy their way to the top ..Nobody Should take football Seriously....Period.................
Why did you leave then?? 😭😭😭😭 I'm gutted but we cant compete with that money and I hope its used cleverly and makes a positive impact. Neto - I wish you success and all the best mate. You will be missed. Always Wolves
We just have to accept where Wolves are in the PL pecking order of finances. Forget our historical record, it matters for nothing in the PL, it is all about the "NOW." Great money for a Jota Mark II , when it comes to injuries. Be interesting to see what happens in the next few months with FFP and Man City, maybe even Chelsea. Anyway, could get Neves back on a 'free',in less than 2 yrs 😅
I wish him well and hopes he really does well for Chelsea. He should have two off-days next season (!) beyond that, I hope he goes from strength to strength.
Yes Dave they may have finished 8 points higher, but we still done the double on a club that spent over £1Billion. As for the bigger fan base they just have a bigger ground but worldwide fan base wolves is far superior. I heard a bit of Trivia on the radio albeit a good few years ago that the 2 largest fan bases worldwide were man utd and real madrid and next were celtic and wolves, probably may have changed a little but not that much, wolves have always had a huge fan base worldwide
Absolutely gutted, same old vultures swooping for our best players, he's that good we can't replace him, chelsea are no better than us, we done the double on em last season, was dreading this happening all summer
Great player Dave but £54 million for someone that’s missed 110 games in 5 seasons. Very very good player when fit. But not anywhere near world class as he’s not a regular for Portugal and isn’t playing for an elite club. E we told class is banded about too easy these days
I agree, I think fit he is world class but there lies the issue with Pedro be interesting to see how things work out for him at Chelsea and if he stats fit
Pedro got a good reception from wolves fans when he came on. Celebrating like he had won the World Cup when he assisted a goal was hard to take. Should take note of how Kovacic celebrated against Chelsea. Hope he doesn’t get a good reception next time.
So very sad to see him go, he is a great player, when he was fit. Hope he stays fit and does well, but just don’t do well against us. Good luck Pedro 🐺
I personally feel he's been sold to cheap..! Yes I know he had injuries but if he can stay fit he will be 100.+ million player i think wolves missed a trick not having a sell on clause as he's only twenty four. But I wish him well of course its a big loss.
@@AlwaysWolves It's shocking because he was probably the best player in the squad, and now you can sit back and watch the money get wasted on more crap brought into this team.
Gem of a player best of wishes Come On you Wolves!!!!
nice words

Thank you Pedro.....great player..... but it is the right deal for Wolves!

I think it is a good deal for us. We have got a lot of money for him.
yep
Best deal for wolves all the best for him come on babbies 🐺⚽️👍
cool
Gutted he’s left but think we’ve got crazy money for the amount of time he’s spent injured
agreed
We have 13 forwards according to the wolves web site
we do have lots of different teams we dont have 13 first team forwards
Dave we had netto for 4 year or 5 we didn't pay alot for him and hope he as a great career at Chelsea he loves Wolverhampton and the club if its wasn't for the injuries we would have got 80 million for him players cu and go good luck to him thanks for the news Dave always wolves

I guess all the clubs we buy players off are just academy for us then
Is netto classed as home grown like kilmam?
yes
Why did you leave then?? 😭😭😭😭

Good luck to Pedro but now its time wolves owners to get the check book out sign centre back and a forward and a winger
incoming
Is it about time small clubs like us to stop big clubs signing our best players
what do you define as small cause if wolves are small the other clubs must be minuscule
I wish him well and hopes he really does well for Chelsea. He should have two off-days next season (!) beyond that, I hope he goes from strength to strength.
fair comment
Fair play
Neto I love Wolverhampton wanderers very happy here more come in off he goes judes
wolves accepted the offer

we do have big world wide fanbase still not sure its as big as Chelsea
Absolutely gutted, same old vultures swooping for our best players, he's that good we can't replace him, chelsea are no better than us, we done the double on em last season, was dreading this happening all summer
Chelsea finished 8 places higher than us have a much bigger fan base and much more revenue and they have European football

yeah that was so disappointing

but players should be lined up ready all behind selling but only if replaced
you aint noticed Rodrigo Gomes then
Pedro didn't wanted to leave wolves Matt Hobbs is lying they know other clubs complaining about Neto's injury but wolves should've hold on to Neto
that sentence made no sense
We got to keep Ryan ait Nouri if only for a few more seasons
I agree
Long as they spend the money Dave. They are still 3/4 short in my opinion
I agree
Another top player leaving the pack Pedro Neto you will be missed at the molineux 🐺
he will
Big loss.
ok
I personally feel he's been sold to cheap..! Yes I know he had injuries but if he can stay fit he will be 100.+ million player i think wolves missed a trick not having a sell on clause as he's only twenty four. But I wish him well of course its a big loss.
there are add ons
It's a shame to see him go,but nothing surprises me about what this club do......shocking!!!
how is it shocking we got 54 million for someone thats been injured over half the time wee paid him
