AND THE ARC IS JUST STARTING!
When i first watched this arc it was one of my least favourite arcs but when i looked back on it thriller bark became one of my favourites. I just love how quickly the vibes can switch from serious to funny and back. Some moments in this arc are absolutely incredible. As well as the many tie-ins to future arcs after this, it completely grew on me in retrospect.

One piece has so much inspiration from our worlds history :) think of Alabasta and all the egyptian themes like the 2 gods that protect the king Horus and Anubis being the guardians with the Jackal fruit and the Falcon fruit. Skypeia was basically the spanish visiting the new world and finding Eldorado and even the gods were similar to aztecs :D
Please record intros before episodes, I really liked your “things I want to see in this……” type of sections during EL😮

We might have to get deeper into the arc for that. It’s a little hard to make predictions when everything is so new. But now that we’ve gotten some of the main characters in the arc and some baddies im sure he’ll give us some “what I wanna see”’s soon. I also really enjoy those.
Chopper is not stupid! He’s the smartest strawhat, it’s just that he is infinitely gullible. Zero life experience all book smarts. We all know someone like that.

All this hate for a 🦝 🐕. Drum island is home to the best doctors in the one piece world. All the research was in that 🏰. He does surgery and general medicine while also being his own pharmacist making 💊. Robin is neck and neck but I always felt a phd in medicine is superior to a phd in obscure history.

actually you have tons of mythical things and legends around the world in One Piece, it starts by greek mythology, to roman mythology, to asian legends, aspects based on to bible , also it has a lot of paralells to real human history things that are proofable and so on ^^
Hey man, just want to give you props for your editing and comedic timing. I get your frustration with the decision making if the weakling trio, but as I'm sure you'll see soon, it's really just for the setup of the situation. Everyone has their moments of narratively required stupidity, and the payoff is typically worth it.

@@Timberzy99 to be serious this arc is strange. it have bad pacing that dip down in middle(worse in skypia) and have other stuff like brook flashback and some other(no spoilers!) that one of the best in the show. my favorite joke is all one piece in next episode for example. still one of the worst villain just kill it
With all the crosses Usopp happened to have, is there a One Piece Jesus? Now I want to see a One Piece/Saint Young Men crossover.

Well, Kuma carries a bible and cross imagery is prevalent, plus there's the nun in Whiskey Peak and the Sister/Mother character later on. I think it's safe to assume Jesus and Christianity are both canon in One Piece.
