I had the same problem when I had my daughter. I had the bald patches on the sides of my head and forehead area. Scary to see such hair loss. I had locks at the time. My locks became thinner especially on the sides of my head. With hindsight I should have cut off the locks and kept a shorter style. But vanity made me hold onto them. The right side eventually regrew but I still have balding on my left side and my daughter is now a teen. The hair is regrowing there but its very slow. The heavy locks led to my hair becoming thinner in the crown area. I have cut off the locks and now rock a natural look.

Hair and scalp clinic I send all my clients there. It’s £125 for a consultation I believe and they specialise in brown and black women with Afro hair 💗
The one I used doesn’t have a clinic and I plan on going to where I just mentioned

I plan to have a transplant too for my edges, I also have thinning in my crown area, this could be because I’m over 50 but I won’t be sure until I see a hair specialist. I may check out the one in Fulham that you mentioned.
Initially, I was looking for the FUT but after seeing this, I may consider the FUE procedure.

Hello thanks for watching, I am glad you are find it helpful. I will be natural at least for the full year of recovery. I want to aim to be relaxed within 18 months but after seeing a trichologist
U look absolutely adorable, everybody can't rock that. I keep my hair cut and tapered with brush waves and I wouldn't change it for the 🌎 sometimes less is better.

I can give you a golden advice, stay away from turkey, go only to the top HT doctors, or dont go at all.

I'm 40 and my crown area is thinning. It really isn't that noticeable and my stylist blends it in. I'm lucky that I'm not at the surgery stage yet of ageing. The only thing I might consider being cosmetically done is whitening and straightening my teeth. I have become attached to my wonky teeth over the years and I'm worried it might mess with my self-image if I have perfectly straight teeth. The whitening I'm worried will make my sensitive teeth more sensitive. But mostly I like how I look even though I'm technically an obese BMI. I need to come to your for a steam treatment!!

Hello. How was the plane ride afterwards and did you wear a wig on the plane? Also how was the hotel and would you recommend staying in Turkey a few days afterwards?
I came back bald and stayed that way for 1 month. I stayed for 5 days loved the alone time. Felt really safe too. Hotel was cleans too

some people saying the donor spot doesnt grow back because the follicle was removed which makes sense in my mind but every video I've watched their donor area appears to have grown back? can you speak to this
My hair grew back perfect no issues at all just wouldn’t do multiple hair transplants back to back

Hey hun, I'm thinking my thinning is because of some missing vitamins. Before going for this did you do any blood tests to see if it was something internal?
Hello lovely, I did and am anaemic, though I am better and take vitamins now the thinning was mainly due to what I described in my video. If it is internal a lot of the times the thinning or hair loss happens in the crown area which is why that area not being done doesn’t bother me. I will go to trichologist for them to do the rest.

I've cut off all my hair and starting again and I'm hoping the mix between vitamins and keeping my hair natural will help. Thanks for sharing your story, this really helps women like me.

You shouldn’t wear anything for at least 10 days, and honestly the tenderness you feel I don’t know if you will be able to. On the plane everyone had their out. Speak to your doctor but I didn’t wear anything until one month post

Was your hotel included it seems like every one was told to stay at the holiday inn which I don’t want to do
They gave me hotels which were closer to the area that helped me pick a good hotel

Yes I do, my hair grew back but also it was a success. With these surgeries you have to be realistic with yourselves and that it may not work. I am happy and just upkeeping PRP treatments

I think you look great with your hair the length that it is at the moment. Just curious as to whether wearing wigs are conducive to the healing process of the donor area and further growth of the grafts…at least until a reasonable amount of time has passed. SN: It really blows my mind at this proverbial love affair that some Black women/WOC have with wearing wigs, some of which look so God-awful, and fake hair (i.e. braids) to their detriment.
Heya thank you for your comment. I would have been happy to wear my own hair, for as long a possible however the grafts naturally fall off and my hair is very patchy. All my wigs are very loose and lined with silk so not rubbing at all.
I am addicted to hair and that means in any way I choose to wear I will enjoy it. People want ease and whilst not being trained on their hair many people find it a burden. Education is key but it’s one step at a time 💗
