At twelve years old, this was my first Olympics that I coukd properly watch and it was just incredible to witness. The feel good vibes, the inspirational performances, the emotional moments and the physical battles ... The wide smiles, the supportive crowds, the dedicated volunteers, the wonderful sportsmanship and the rewarding success. That was what made London 2012 incredible, and I, for certain, will never forget it. London 2012: the games that united the people.
Remember this montage & London 2012 like it was yesterday. Was such a special time was like we were in a bubble for those few weeks. Can't believe Rio is mere months away.
And 4 years later they continued with their good work. So it wasn't just a flash in the pan. 2nd after the USA...not bad for a small country, especially when you see how Germany was always ahead of us.
"Highlights of Team GB from the London 2012 Winter Olympic Games" I know our summer aren't always the hottest, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't mean they were classed as the Winter Olympics!

Britain celebrated as if they would never win so many medals again but they surpassed it at the next Olympics itself. Well done team GB.
