I was about 5 years old early 70s when my father showed me a poster with the picture of Lloyd Coxon on it ..and told me and my brothers.. he is one of the greatest..and to remember this man..my father played Coxon ..his sound was Studio One from Birmingham in a blues party on St Peters Rd Handsworth..early 70s..History.
Why his father claim he took Toasting from America Dj when they weren’t it was just talking on mic…so he couldn’t have get that and that Toasting form already existed here in Jamaica! We need to clean up that mess. It’s circulating all over UA-cam and movies disrespecting Jamaican culture! If this interview is old and he passed away no need to reply and I’ll retract it.
