There are a LOT of performances of S.O.S. It's the song that propelled him to overnight stardom as his first performance on the Chinese reality show "I Am Singer" in 2017.

I think the S O S from his digital concert, during covid, is very dramatic. But regarding Ogni Pietra, you said he could sing a duet with himself, you need to see his El Amor Enti, from his Almatey concert, It’s in Spanish and epic, even for Dimash. The crowd were wowed over with that.
You may be surprised to learn he can do the ‘metal scream’ technique (sorry don’t know the technical term). He displays it in his song ‘The Story of One Sky’ (probably best to listen to a few more older songs before this though). There is no end to his talent, range and vocal techniques! ❤

Dimash is now 29. He has been trained from age 5. Classically and contemporary. He had a masters degree in musicology and is studying for his doctorate. He sings in multiple languages and plays 7 instruments. His latest Dudarai is proof of his versatility. He starts of traditional and then changes to a completely new genre.

yes, I'd recommend the SOS Digital Live from 2021- this was a digital concert due to covid-19 and not being able to have an in person audience.

If you like how Dimash duet'd with himself, wait till you see him performing El Amor En Ti, it's insane. If you like rock/metal, check out Dimash performing Across Endless Dimensions and Know (specifically the vocalise version from his Arnau concert). They're not rock but there are some killer high belts that have a rock/metal vibe and some awesome guitar and bass-guitar at parts in the background.

He was born May 1994, making him 29 right now. He's 6 ft. 3 in., swims underwater for lung strength, writes/composes/acts/models.
He has 7.7 octaves, sings in 15 or so languages, sings every genre, & Igor came out of retirement to compose for Dimash. Anytime you see Igor playing piano, it's something he's composed.
The Singer performances in 2017 are a great way to follow how he began. Some songs have back stories as they are true, so it's a good idea to do that to understand the why, of them.
Dimash does not use swimming to train - he tries to make use of the pool in whatever city his concerts are in, but he doesn't swim to train~

He's outstanding, the first time I listened to him I was in awe. This show happened in the opening of the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
Actually this particular performance was during his ARNAU Concert (2019) in Astana, The song itself (performed by Dimash) premiered at the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus in 2019 (about a week before this concert if I'm not mistaken🙂).

The song Olympico (which became known as Ogni Pietra) was composed by maestro Igor Krutoy, with Italian lyrics by Russian poet Lilia Vinogradova and arrangements by Erlan Bekchurin. It was composed specifically for Dimash for the 2019 European Games. With this song Dimash won, on December 5, 2019, the Victoria award (Russian equivalent of the Grammy) for best singer of the year, in the classical genre ("Best Vocalist in Classical Music").

Dimash was raised speaking Kazak and Russian.
He has picked up on a lot of Mandarin, Chinese since 2017.
He has been living in the U.S. off and on the past few months which has really improved his English.
He is technically Dr. Qudaibergen. He completed his PhD this past spring.
He then moved to the U.S. to attend the New York School of Fine Arts, Los Angeles campus, majoring
in Film Directing.
I have no idea how that has gone. Only that he has been jetting all over the world performing concerts and
spent a few weeks in China participating in several events and concerts.
He never seems to slow down.
Like many in Kazakhstan, he is Eurasian. 6'3" tall, Muslim, kind, compassionate, loving, caring.
He will go out of his way to spend a minute or two with babies, children and the disabled.
Word has gotten out that he is a strong philanthropist but he absolutely will not discuss that,
and media asking him about it makes him angry. Also, no one should ask him about a girlfriend, fiancé or wife.
He has expressed a desire to get married and have children but I think for the time being, his band members
have had babies and he is content playing with them and pictures are taken of him holding them on his chest while he is resting while on a plane.

He did not take the film directing internship, he gave it away to someone who could benefit from it.
Also his English was very good before he went to the US, to connect with some well known music producers and, being English living in the US for over 50 yrs, he will not improve his English here.
Dimash never ceases to amaze.

Since you guys talked so highly of Igor, there is one thing that's worth noting. Igor Krutoy is the richest musician on the planet, he's been composing hits for many international artist for decades now, and he also produces many artists in Russia and Asia. He is worth something around 14 billion USD. He had more or less retired, and came out of retirement to work with Dimash. Dimash (and us too!) is very lucky to have him as a friend and mentor so early in his career..

The people in Dimash's fandom are called Dears. Now the difference from other fandoms is Dimash named his fans, he said because his fans are like close friends and family and they are dear to him. He has sung in 14-15 languages, but generally in his solo concerts he sings in English, Kazakh, Chinese, Russian, French, and Italian, and depending in which country he is in, he might throw in a song of that country's language. When he was in Turkey, he sang a Turkish song, in Armenia, an Armenian song, you get the drift.
Igor is a famous composer/producer/singer/musician, but generally doesn't set up Dimash's stages. Lol. Unless its an Igor Krutoy concert, which Dimash has performed at. This video is from a Dimash solo concert in Astana, Kazakhstan in 2019. The Kinetic Voice. Igor has written and rewritten many songs for Dimash.
