The love in her heart speaks volumes without her speaking a word. After the question from the reporter about Paige and watching Geno pause for a moment before answering, I actually started to tear up waiting for his answer which I knew would be beautiful.
Sitting at the podium talking about the upcoming game against USC, he’s boosting his team and recruiting all at once.

USC are bigger than us, but not by much. You'd have to say we have a chance. It's just whether they can keep going later in the game when they've all played a lot of minutes. Ice and Ashlynn need to have good games.

What other WCBB team has made it to the E8 with five starters including two Freshmen and a bench of two more neither of which can stop the bleeding if a starter is in foul trouble. This is my favorite UConn team for its grit.

Playing in the E8 with a roster of only five, two being Freshmen is new. Still, the Freshmen coming into the game today are phenomenal.

As the game ended. There was a ghostly figure floating above the court. It was the ghost of Pat Summit giving Geno the thumbs up and smiling fondly on our beloved Huskies...
Coach Geno needs to be more positive, optimistic, and also grateful in analyzing this year's team. Fact is, this years team compared to other good teams in tournament, are undersized, missing 3 stars from injuries which has definitely hurt their depth, yet; this years team is winning, depending on their match up. Their lack of height and inconsistent shooting has been an Achilles for them.
USC fmis a good match up for UCONN. They can beat USC. It.ll be a fast-paced game. Geno Needs to Play 8 kids. 8 kids need to step up, play tough, rebound, rebound, hit their shots. If done, it's final four.
He has been saying how proud he is of this team ALl season long. Especially this team season because their mindset is "special", " they are different ". 😊😊😊
have you paid attention to this season at all. He has said all along this years team is undersized from the get go. Pretty sure Geno knows what he needs to be genius he's only been doing this 45 years now.

I agree, personally, I didn't think they'd get to the 8. Based on their lack of depth, in my mind their season has been a success. 60 teams didn't make it this far.
