Felt like the Erron player underperformed a bit. Ik its a older video. Things have changed, and all that. I just feel like he had a bunch of goof ups that could have been easily avoided.
I agree but his fundamentals are still insanely good. If he mixed up the b2 or 212 with the slide he would have won a lot more

Why is Erron so bad? Like I’m not doubting you, I’m open to explanation. Why is he so bad?
@@howdydoodydoo3631 He's got no meaties. His 2 best strings are dial-in so you'll whiff till ages if the opponent wakeup rolls. He's got no range. He's got no movement. There's big gaps between hits of his b222 string. He loses to A LOT the cast (he has a lot of losing matchups). His jumps attacks aren't the best. His Flawless Blocks attacks aren't one of the best. These are the reason why no one plays him. He's got no ways to open the opponent up.
@@howdydoodydoo3631 He isnt bad. He is Mid-Tier. He has bad match ups with Noob, Fujin and Joker. Basically characters with range. You have to be smart to play Erron. You can play him in so many ways. I play him passive and defensive. He does have a safe armor break, great pokes, and great meter-less damage.
Why I don’t play him if you get outspaced trying to do the 21212 string you whiff bad and get punished for it or if someone rolls you’re done
Erron isn’t “bad” but they definitely did not need to nerf him. I main him and I can guarantee you he’s mid at best.

Kotal's command grab is an unblockable mid. Erron's is a standard high. Seems like there's a clear winner here.
