I've heard similar experiences regarding that green card issue and lack of freedom. Atm I'm a freshman at college doing csec, bad decision ? How competitive is the job market and does an international student even stand a chance ?
@@Syrnikiii most jobs in csec require u a citizen and or even a security clearance. Even as a permanent resident u get overlooked. Job competition is tough but if ur a citizen and or acquire a security clearance it’s rather easier to get in.
@@13serges Damn that's hella unfortunate. Would you say software engineering or smth is a safer bet ? Tbh I sometimes feel like csec is overhyped and hella unstable + demanding.
Not true at all. Most jobs don’t require citizenship status, a permanent residence is just as good enough and security clearance is not necessary at all either.

That's asinine. As a 20 year old, you're basically still an infant 😂. Don't stress about time at your age, it's an unreasonable waste of energy for someone as young as you. Focus on what you want to do, eliminate unnecesary distractions, and however you decide to move through life will be to your benefit
