Magic for Dogs is back! I had an awesome summer fooling people - and dogs! I wanted you to see what I see, so I attached a GoPro camera on myself so you can see the dog's expressions better.

So how do you do it? How do you fool a dog's nose like that? Surely their nose would be able to tell them where the treat really went.. ?

Jose Ahonen Figured out how it was done, he is not fooling it's real or at least it could be a real one if you wanted, nice vid tho gonna try this one out!!!
So it's pretty simple, He doesn't have to fool the dog's nose, infact he's counting on it.. Where's the scent of the treat the strongest? Well if you look he caresses the treat a fair bit, hence his fingers carries the strongest smell. I did this to my dog, and it took about 3-4 minutes before he picked up the secondary scent, i.e where the treat had been hidden =)
It's interesting that all the dogs check your hand first, the ground second to see if you dropped it, and then your other hand to see if they didn't miss it. Hm.

Would love to know why they all seem so happy (wagging tail etc) afterwards lol.
My guess is that they pick up on the human emotions, but I'd like to think they realize it's a trick ^^
+SebSk They're just...dogs. Dogs, unless mistreated, are happy animals that love people and are very good-natured.
Yeah I projected human thought onto them for some reason lol, I guess I assumed they would "feel tricked" or something or sad for having "lost" a treat.

You can see the treat getting pulled back with with elastic bands at 0:32 .when closes his hand releases the treat and it goes flying towards this torso. I would guess it's his left inner pocket.
I love the dogs who look at him afterwards, 'Why would you do this to me?'

I'm guessing that he has a string or something tied to the treat. So every time he flicks his wrist down, he is or someone else is dragging the string away quickly. If he did it then that means that it went up his sleeve.
