XANDER ZAYAS REACTS TO DOMINANT WIN OVER FORMER WORLD CHAMP & HEADLINING FOR PUERTO RICO

Xander Zayas reacts to his dominant Unanimous Decision victory over former World Champion Patrick Teixeira.
This was a special event for Zayas, who headlined the card in New York City in celebration of the Puerto Rican Day Parade weekend.
Zayas dominated the fight, and even though he couldn't get the knockout, two judges scored him winning every single round, and the third judge had him winning nine out of all ten rounds.
The final scores were (100-90x2, 99-91), all in favor of Zayas, who takes one big step forward towards title contention in one of the hottest and toughest divisions in boxing today.

He is not ready to face the elite. He is showing signs of a boring defensive fighter, hit and don't get hit, another (Shakur). He is young, so maybe in time he will become more aggressive ( risk taker). Am Puerto Rican born and raised, am proud of any athlete who represents our beautiful shining star of the Caribbean. He has no seek and destroy instinct. Charlo, Crawford, Ortiz, Tyzsu, Fundora or even a blown up Garcia, Haney would destroy this kids career. Again he is young, hopefully he will break out of his shell.
