- I received a small box of rocks from Theo Kellison. In the box he concluded som ammonites with Ammolite, Montana Agate Slab, and 2 Cabochons that I took and wrapped in copper wire making pendants that he will sell in the 2023 Billings Gem & Mineral show. All the information is below.

Wow those wraps came out phenomenal! Your so talented! They are exquisite! And I'm sure you will do something fabulous with the extra pieces he sent you and those lovely bear canyon pieces as well! And the slab of Montana agate needs to be taken down in thickness and polished before any iris is going to show though but it has excellent potential! I cant wait to see what you do with the ammonite pieces he sent! They all have great potential to be just as awesone of cabs as the one he sent you! And just needs your talent to become really special! Thanks Kurt!
The bear canyons are super unique and recognizable, love those, mine are proudly on display. The ammonites he finds are out of control! I was lucky enough to hold that huge one he found last summer, was incredible! Highly recommend paying the Kellisons a visit someday, wonderful people + Bun

Those ammonites are awesome!! Someday I'd like to work with some ammolite since its mined in the province next to me!! Apparently there's some huge ammonites down a logging road not too far from home either so I'll have to check those out at some point too!! Great work with the wire wrapping by the way, getting wraps that tight can be challenging!!
If we make it to the Billings Gem Show, I may have to bring home that Montana Agate you wrapped with the open back! 😊
That was really entertaining and informative, I learned more than a couple of new things. I love the ammonite, especially w/the little squiggly pattern ;). It’s unique colors from what I’ve seen before. Dig the fluoresce too. Really have an affinity for Montana Agate though and that’s a sweet piece. First (and only so far haha), stone I’ve polished on a machine…at the county fair. Just working on wrapping my 3rd piece, and I’m inspired by yours you shared! Love the light from leaving back open. They should sell super fast. Well done!
