How to create quality isometric vector design in adobe illustrator cc from sketch to vector.
In this step by step easy video tutorial, you will learn the basics of isometric design in illustrator. You will learn how to create an isometric grid, you will learn how to create isometric shapes for the right, left and top facing shapes, you will learn how to move and edit these shapes on an isometric grid and finally how to draw a minimal vector illustration.
This tutorial is perfect if you are a beginner to isometric design or more advanced illustrator looking to add new skills.
Note* This is my personal way of working and by no means the best nor the only way to create illustrations. If you don't understand certain parts of the video, let me know in the comments below and I'll glady help you out!

Great video! What I found useful is to create a couple of prerecorded "actions" > Left, Right, and Top.

The "remove compound path" step is such a staple of the workflow and such a brilliant move I haven't seen in any other channel's videos. Thanks for showing it!

Great tutorial! I'm a bit stuck on how you did the "hello" section though - did you essentially create the type and then convert it to an object, then use the rotate tool?

Is this method commonly used? Do designers use the 3D feature from Adobe for creating isometric designs?
