Suicide & Redemption contains one of the best James Hetfield's solos in my opinion (24:24-24:53) You can find the version of this song with FULL James' solo on GUITAR HERO rendition of Death Magnetic
I don't know how it hasn't been brought up yet but in the opening of Cyanide they're saying SOS in Morse Code in the Guitars (The parts you called alien shit)
Let me tell you when I first heard this album when it came out? I wasn't feeling That Was Just Your Life as the intro song? And Metallica is my band, I stuck with them through Load, ReLoad and St. Anger. But I saw them three times during that World Magnetic Tour. It starts out with the Ecstacy of Gold then the lights go out and that heartbeat and the intro recording plays to that was Just Your life with a cool laser light show that matches the music as it builds up to the main riff it is the recording up to that point. Then the stage lights kick on and James is playing the main riff live and Lars hitting his snare way louder then when the rest of the band kicks in? explosions and pyro go off...Now when I hear that intro to That was Just Your Life? it takes me back to those live performances that is why now my favorite song on Death Magnetic is That was Just Your Life.
I’d recommend reacting to beyond magnetic if you weren’t going to already. It’s got some great tracks, especially hate train. edit: oh haha I commented this halfway through the video
Awesome album reaction bro. Good that your doing the EP beyond magnetic before jumping in on hardwired to selfdestruct. But a nice thing to react to would be the end of the line live that they recently did live. After 11 years!
To me? This album hangs out with “Justice” as their most technical albums…not a bad track on the album. You may like some more than others, but would you skip any of this shit? Fuck no! It’s a really good album!
I’m probably the only one that thinks Suicide And Redemption is Metallica’s best instrumental. The solos, the riffs, the harmonies, and the breakdowns in this song. It’s just so fucking brutal and I love it! What a masterpiece 🤘🤘
Awesome reactions (part 1 & 2)! I agree that End of the Line is the best on the album. Great album to play drums to!! Definitely the most underrated and unappreciated tallica album. 🤘
Hey man i'd love it if you reacted to Dystopia, they're a crust punk/sludge metal band. They play some slow and groovy stuff and the drummer Dino also does the screaming vocals. Basically no one has reacted to them on UA-cam even tho they're a pretty big band. Much love
I’m an old school Thrasher, so I’m partial to “My Apocalypse”!it’s their first true Thrasher since “Dyer’s Eve” seriously 20 years before. Really though, not a bad track on this fuckin album!!!
1. The Judas Kiss 2. The Unforgiven III 3. All Nightmare Long 4. That Was Just Your Life 5. The Day That Never Comes 6. Cyanide 7. The End Of The Line 8. Suicide & Redemption 9. Broken, Beat & Scarred 10. My Apocalypse That's my list here. DM is actually my favorite album ever I love all 10 tracks here. I wouldn't give any song lower than 9 in rating. It's like the first five are 10s, the last five are 9-9.5s
all nightmare long is second longest on the album after suicide, if im not wrong its almost 10 min long and they have played suicide live once if im not misstaking in copenhagen 2009
Metallica-hardwired to self destruct next ! Literally it’s the same as this but way better and produced better James sounds crazy good . Feels like they found a fresh start
Cyanide - my least favourite song on the album, but that just showes how great the album is The Unforgiven III - my favourite of the trilogy The Judas Kiss - one of my favourites overall, love to play along with the live version Suicide & Redemption - my favourite instrumental. Beacuse all the others are in Cliff's shadow and this is the first song to shine on its own My Apocalypse - love the bridge riff and also play along to live version So, Death Magnetic is the classic 'Tallica album. If it was realeased in the '80s it would be a classic as Master or Justice And it has the same formula as the classics: Album opener with slow guitar intro (Only thing missing is a title track in the second slot) 4th song is a 'ballad' Second to last song is an instrumental Album closer a fast shorter trash banger (where the bridge riff was written by Kirk, as well as the Damage Inc bridge riff)
Metallica has always been good at not doing what other Metal bands can do, but somehow doing off the wall shit shit that only they can do…if that makes sense?
My thoughts exactly. I think Cyanide is the weakest track on the album. Any of the 4 songs on the Beyond Magnetic EP should of made the cut over Cyanide. Rebel of Babylon, or Hate Train shouldve made the cut instead of Cyanide to me. Please react to Beyond Magnetic and give us your thoughts on leaving any of those tracks out 🙏.. Top 3 for me, My Apocalypse End Of The Line The Day That Never Comes.. Great reaction again my friend..
Judas kiss is so underrated.
so does the rest of the album
Also Cynide!! The clean guitar part is legendary
@@belliiahmed Yeah. The Unforgiven III's bridge always gives me fricking chills. ALWAYS
Suicide & Redemption contains one of the best James Hetfield's solos in my opinion (24:24-24:53)
You can find the version of this song with FULL James' solo on GUITAR HERO rendition of Death Magnetic
Also it's one of the best metallica solos of all time.
I don't know how it hasn't been brought up yet but in the opening of Cyanide they're saying SOS in Morse Code in the Guitars (The parts you called alien shit)
Fun fact: the first guitar solo in Suicide & Redemption, without the wah-wah effect, is played by James.
Yeah. Full James' solo is on GUITAR HERO edition of DM
My Apocalypse is criminally underrated imo

Hate train is amazing
Awesome album reaction bro. Good that your doing the EP beyond magnetic before jumping in on hardwired to selfdestruct. But a nice thing to react to would be the end of the line live that they recently did live. After 11 years!
Great job young man....love this album so much excellent stuff.....
To me? This album hangs out with “Justice” as their most technical albums…not a bad track on the album. You may like some more than others, but would you skip any of this shit? Fuck no! It’s a really good album!
The middle section's riff from My Apocalypse is written by Kirk
29:58-30:00 James sings the title of the album in this crazy song
I love your videos, you're a great drummer. very talented and very handsome too, I love you man!
really liked ur reaction bro! cant wait for hardwired to self destruct
These reactions are really enjoyable. Keep it going! Garage and S&M are both great.
Still waiting for beyond magnetic bro! I love these reactions!!
Cyanide is so badass one of there best songs EVER💯🔥🚒💪⚡🎸
I’m probably the only one that thinks Suicide And Redemption is Metallica’s best instrumental. The solos, the riffs, the harmonies, and the breakdowns in this song. It’s just so fucking brutal and I love it! What a masterpiece 🤘🤘
Nope me too
No. Me also. I have this as the best instrumental
Awesome reactions (part 1 & 2)! I agree that End of the Line is the best on the album. Great album to play drums to!! Definitely the most underrated and unappreciated tallica album. 🤘

Awesome live preformance of Judas Kiss on their Quebec Megnetic show
Beyond Magnetic or Hardwired soon ..🙏 bro
Id pick Broken, Beat and Scarred, All Nightmare Long and…The Day That Never Comes as my top3.
I love this album.
4:23 - Love the whole album, but whenever James sings 2x the same line it gives me stomachache remembering of St Anger...
Have to do beyond magnetic before hardwired its a few songs that didnt make the cut and there just as good as the others.
1. The Judas Kiss
2. The Unforgiven III
3. All Nightmare Long
4. That Was Just Your Life
5. The Day That Never Comes
6. Cyanide
7. The End Of The Line
8. Suicide & Redemption
9. Broken, Beat & Scarred
10. My Apocalypse
That's my list here. DM is actually my favorite album ever I love all 10 tracks here. I wouldn't give any song lower than 9 in rating. It's like the first five are 10s, the last five are 9-9.5s
My Apocalypse is my Top 1 track on the album. As a thrash metal fan its a real banger. Its like a modern Damage Inc. 🤘
No cyanide is Best
I love this album
I was wondering if you would check out King Diamond “Abigail”
Judas Kiss kicks so much ass…it really kinda sums up what this phenomenal album is in one song
My top 3 is
1. The Day That Never Comes
2. All Nightmare Long
3. My Apocalypse
all nightmare long is second longest on the album after suicide, if im not wrong its almost 10 min long and they have played suicide live once if im not misstaking in copenhagen 2009
Can’t wait for Hardwired. Underrated opinion, but Am I Savage? has some of the best riffs on Hardwired.
Suicide and redemption has some of James Hetfield's best soloing in my opinion
top 3 for me goes like this
that was just your life, judas kiss and all nightmare long
Metallica-hardwired to self destruct next ! Literally it’s the same as this but way better and produced better James sounds crazy good . Feels like they found a fresh start
Have to disagree there this album is way more innteresting and just hits harder.
I also disagree. Death Magnetic is one of the best Metallica albums. Hardwired is not
Cyanide - my least favourite song on the album, but that just showes how great the album is
The Unforgiven III - my favourite of the trilogy
The Judas Kiss - one of my favourites overall, love to play along with the live version
Suicide & Redemption - my favourite instrumental. Beacuse all the others are in Cliff's shadow and this is the first song to shine on its own
My Apocalypse - love the bridge riff and also play along to live version
So, Death Magnetic is the classic 'Tallica album. If it was realeased in the '80s it would be a classic as Master or Justice
And it has the same formula as the classics:
Album opener with slow guitar intro
(Only thing missing is a title track in the second slot)
4th song is a 'ballad'
Second to last song is an instrumental
Album closer a fast shorter trash banger (where the bridge riff was written by Kirk, as well as the Damage Inc bridge riff)
How have you never reacted to Spit out the Bone?
This fkn album is so underrated.
Metallica has always been good at not doing what other Metal bands can do, but somehow doing off the wall shit shit that only they can do…if that makes sense?
Unforgiven 3 sounds like Bleeding Me 2
It definitly does not. Thats an insult to Bleeding Me.
@@ImperialMJG no it does

End Of The Line
The Day That Never Comes.. Great reaction again my friend..
Cyanide is my least favorite, but it seems to be in the top 2 most played songs off this album. Which needs to played so much more
Your nuts it's definitely the best track on the album
