He is a great guy and surfer, and deservs to be in the top 5. Just the surf Ranch result was messed up.... and if the judges dont help him hard, Filipe takes it, just like the other 2 finals this year

Filipe under head high is pretty unstoppable but if this tropical swell sends anything solid then Griff and Jack can beat anyone in 8-10 foot faces
Judges will be helping him big time, fillipe gunna have to do something amazing to beat Griff

how can felipe win so many comps but can't even surf proper pipeline, that is the biggest kept secret in pro surfing and why I think its goofy 😂😂😂. Griff def deserves to win this year.

I do not agree with the results of the surf Ranch contest I think Italo one that but I do think that Griffin has the talent and support!! to be a world champion one day

Pushed artificially. I really wonder if one day we will get to hear from one of the judges how exactly they are coerced or instructed towards such collective favoritism. By the way, I am not Brazilian, just a real surfer for 40 years from Europe. This judging bias started very recently in our sport. They really push to have a Californian champ. For what? This is not a primarily American sport. I don't even think that Americans are the dominant viewers.
How is he pushed artificially? The kid rips. since the Brazilian fan base is so large I’m sure they would prefer if a Brazo like Joao or Filipe won the event. Brazilians have been dominating the sport for like the last 7-8 years, why would WSL be trying to push an American now? The hate is just people upset that Griff is a top 5 surfer.
@@YuseiFudo52 all people upset about colapinto because he doesn't deserve to be there, do the math !.... nobody's mad a Chianca or Robinson or Ewing, they got there fairly, and if one of them beats Toledo which I doubt it, it would be fair and fun to watch. Surf Ranch was a mess for WSL. And Colapinto has long way to go to be a real champ like Toledo.

We all know Felipe is a different kind, scared of tubes, when the others love it. Griff and Felipe are both amazing in small waves. any of the top 5 could win .
@@surflix4306 scared of tubes? He won at Jbay and Sunset, and 3rd at bells beach which are the biggest waves on tour, plus 5th at pipeline and 9th at Tahiti.... Also won Salvador which was big also.
