Patricia Bruder was an underrated actress. She played Ellen's reaction to David's death with such great emotion. This was the end of an era for a lot of us longtime viewers. Henderson Forsythe had played David since 1960 and saying goodbye to the character was very difficult. Lisa has such a big heart. Despite her years of resentment towards Ellen, she still was able to reach out and try to comfort her. Both Kim and Susan had been daughter-in-laws to David so it was interesting to see both of their reactions. I loved to reference to John's bad history with Dee and David. The writing was so good.
Holden and Emma were both introduced in October of 1985. At the time, they were the only two Snyders currently living at the farm. Holden was introduced to the viewing audience as the new Stablemaster at the Walsh stables. A few weeks later, Iva returned home after being away for 17 years. Then within the next 6 months, Meg and Seth returned.
Julie sure gets around from man to man to man. Will she ever learn her lesson? Do not have a boyfriend do not get engaged and certainly do not get married and you will be a very happy person. Don't commit to anyone just have your flings and have fun and you're not hurting anybody because you're honest with each guy you're sleeping with. If that's what you want to do with your life and that's the key to your happiness just be honest about it. I don't understand why everybody else helps Julie lie. Just tell the freaking truth already. It can't be worse than the lie or the lies you've told. Not to mention the truth is so much easier. Honesty rules

Wasn't there more to the scene at the airport with Kim and Bob and Susan? I seem to remember more from an episode that isn't on anymore.

I wasn’t a huge Courtney fan, but I do think her eating disorder storyline was well done.
