  • Socca, Farinata , torta di ceci or cecina is a type of thin, unleavened pancake or crêpe of chickpea flour originating in Genoa, Italy and later a typical food of the Ligurian Sea coast, from Nice in France to Elba Island in Italy.

    Called soca in provence, farinna in Italy and faina in Uruguay., it's made of chick pea flour, water and salt. Highly recommended, with a sprinkle of black pepper just before eating
