Actually I have not seen the coming episodes yet, but From what I have read on the history of china in this period, I think the coming episodes are more drastic.
I love the series, but it leaves me feeling sad every episode. I have to work to shake it off after a little bit because every episode is nothing short of tragic in an epic way. In a way I'll be glad when it's over because it makes me feel really sad every time. I miss that there is not one second of happy vibes like in the earlier episodes too. I also feel like the horses in this series drew the short stick. Poor horses.
I really love Yansage & Hunian cp. And I don’t care if he is badass to everyone but in romance, he is the best husband ever. He was like both evil and gentleman man. Im a woman so most blood and guts and battle sene's arnt my cup of tea but the military tactics used kept my interest....I've become so emotionally invested in this series....it's my favorite so far right along with "ruyi's love in the palace" and "yanxi palace". I give all 3 shows ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s!

Why was wuguli surprised that yan yan short an arrow at yasage? He literally rebelled and is actively trying to kill yan yan and her family. Wuguli used this to drive a wedge between Hunian and yan yan later on but if it was any one of them sisters in yan yan’s position, they will also kill their brother in law.
Another great episode! See those power hungry cast here like the wife of Zhimo, she didn't realize if Zhimo didn't become a Eunich they will not allow him to marry her... She would be a palace maid forever.... Zhimo fought for her, why she forgot that?
Good Service Men like Xiuge and Derang are hard to find. They are not just doing their service duty, but willingly to do to protect their Masters and their Country. "Yanyan is a power hunger, too. She wants to get involve on every decision Your Majesty makes." I hope Hunian should morn her loss, but respect Yanyan's decision to protect their love ones and the country from a tyranny like King Taiping. I was afraid he might decide to get one of the woman pregnant for him because Hunian did not pregnant yet.
I have disagree with what you said about Yanyan. Is absolutely not power hungry. This why Mingyi took her from is best friend and brother in first place. She doing actually what Mingyi said she was capable of. That's why her didn't reject Mingyi when said I wanted your third daughter to my wife and queen. The 2nd daughter and first daughter wanted to be Empress. Yanyan did care in whole about that position.
Hunian deserved better losing her baby and her husband 🥺 I guess it just wasn’t the time to have a family, I just wish Yansage didn’t let his ambition blur his vision i wish he confided in his wife, I loved their relationship he truly did adore her even if he did some things wrong 🥲
Nuli, Gao Xun and Yansange death is so satisfying. I am at awe of war strategy that took place 1000 [?] years ago. That was brilliant way to trap those opponents soldiers. Again I am liking the emperor, Queen and their core team to execute it all despite his frail health.
Glad, Zhimo knifed off his annoying, evil, nag of a wife to prove his innocence, MEDITATE in peace now!. Loved the elements of surprise and gaining the upper hand. Yansage (on his dying breaths) rushed back to see his beloved wife (NO!) to corrupt her against the queen and passed on the token of POWER. 😮😈 Background music made it more gripping and victorious.😉😮😅

Because she's selfish and she help with her husband troops to get him out of a bind that he brought on himself.

I like him too. But he was very arrogant and stupid in the beginning. I admit, some of this was because of the cray cray emperor he grew up under. It wasn’t until he fell in love and experienced tragedy that he began to change. Shame though, sometimes it is only through pain that we grow and mature.

Love this episode and everything that happened. I'm sad for Huinian but Yansage somehow deserved what happened to him. I hope Huinian will find her happiness one day. Yanyan is strong now. She truly became the Queen and protected the Emperor in cold blood. However, the scene that touched me the most was Derang who was unable to hug Sy at the end. I also noticed every time (maybe I was wrong) that we see YanYan and Mingji together, they are not very close ,,,, So many unhappy people in the name of the country,💖😥
No, once yanyan and the emperor started eating together they did get a little close. The emperor hugged her one the bed. Derang just going through the motions withe Si , but she doesn't care as long as he's kind and polite to her and she got to marry him. And that's was only because he couldn't have Yanyan. This is so sad 😞 😥
I agree, but I believe deep down in the oldest sister, she's a little secretly jealous of Yanyan for becoming the queen and because Derang loves Yanyan with all his heart.

我觉得真爱是不会当主谋策划谋杀她父亲的。太平王对她更多的就是喜爱和占有，真爱是需要尊重和理解的。这剧中，除了韩德让，其他戏份多一些的男性角色几乎都是以利益为先，谈真爱太奢侈了
萧思温伙同明扆刺杀太平王皇兄在先，太平王为兄报仇，可以理解。另外萧思温背弃胡辇，可恶。
这个剧太平王和胡辇的感情看上去最真，燕燕和韩德让的感情戏看着像在玩家家似的，好幼稚。
