yeah, its pretty cool. I have mine set to output no cabsim from 1 output to my audio interface if Im using VSTs or CAB ir's and the other can go to my amps efx return if I want to color the sound from my combo or cab setup.
@@neilkendall9857 on the GE300 and other effects units the volume pedal is an FX block which you can move around in the effects chain. This one doesn't. Making it very frustrating to use. You can't do volume swells for example
czarkhanpe I don’t recall seeing a shimmer reverb. I’ll be on tour for a couple of months, so, I won’t be able to do any new videos on this until April. Rock on, Scott
John Cecilia That’s what I think. The 200, 250, and 300 all sound very similar to me. It’s a great practice tool, great for demo recording with the USB audio output!
@@riccardobasso5578 I can't say...I haven't used it for a gig yet. I don't have any for a few months, since I'll be out on the road with Y&T until nearly April, so...
@@johncecilia4517 I'm currently using the HX Effects live, and love it! I think the the Helix family of units has the best sounding effects out there, at the moment...also, the interfaces for the Line 6 units are very easy to navigate and get the most from the unit with a minimum of manual reading (something I NEVER do). I just pre-ordered the new Quad Cortex by Neural DSP, so, come September we'll see if there's a new sheriff in town.
Cab through is to choose if you want cab sim/ir on both outputs or one or the other.

Great metal tone! Those drum machine patterns are shocking mind.

Killer playing!
Great video thanks! Hey can you split the dry signal out to record it dry but still hear processed at same time? record a wet and a dry basically...
Good review! A question - is it possible to set the tuner to silent, so when you switch the tuner on it's already in silent mode? Thanks.
Is there an automatic guitar tuner on this pedal?
Hi Can I have 3 settings on one patch.say a clean, distortion and lead all on a patch which I can easily switch between during a song?.Thanks
Can you change current effect parameters by pushing the current knob? Let's say A is active, if I press A again what happens?
Would love to see presets from you on ge200! I know its not really your market but way more people have it vs others due to its lower price
Nice. How much is this in US?

@@Scottsguitarplayground thx
Don't you think it is weird how they set up the expression pedal in this unit? I expected the volume to be available as an FX unit..
What do you mean by 'I expected the volume to be available as an FX unit'? That doesn't make sense.

can the effects be changed in the chain?
czarkhanpe Yes, you can move them into any order you want.
