My thai friend is buddhist and their home also has a guardian even a shrine for the guardian. The woman represents the guardian of the village. At my friend’s house one night I saw what i thought was my friend walk into his room but when I followed “him” nobody was there. Turns out he was in the driveway. When i told my friend he said its the guardian.
