Thank y so much for saving the old school Rotating light bars and flashers. I too have a collection of light bars, and my very favorite ( Federal #184s) I have amber, Red, Clear lens 😊 I just got a ( Whelen) Centurion. I moved the arrow stick flashers to front of bar, and made a flash pattern. The bar itself has just outside Rotation ligh ( with mirror) or both inside rotation ( mirror) the center is clear dome with adjustable mirror placement. On my 1971 SeaGrave engine, have the Federal 184 front and center on roof. Plus a ArrowDine just behind with speaker grill removed. On tail board I took off the Old school just flashets in the lighthouse covers. I put two Federal 2 beam rotary on plates. One amber one red. I have 3 electronic sirens in cab on dash. Plus my SeaGrave has the Federal "Q" on front nose of engine. I do parade and public kids ed with her. I work closely with a local Fire Cadet program and The PIO for reginal Fire department for Kids events. You collection is wonderful. Its so fantastic that you are out there saving them. A big thanks on the plastic lens cleaner products numbers. I too use Meguiars cleaner 😊❤😊
Depends on the condition of the bar. I usually start with the finer grit polish, and most of the time that will get the job done. But if not, then I will move to the more aggressive heavy grit polish. If the bar is in really bad shape, I will just start with the heavy grit polish.
