I like the question you asked and it never really occurred to me that it was something to be felt. yes sirrrr it hits different being on two wheels going to work or commuting anywhere rather than taking my 4 wheels and it has a different impact throughout the day
Oh, I DEFINITELY choose to commute. If I'm not 100%, or there's gonna be rain that day, I'll take my truck... but dang, throwing a leg over first thing in the morning is such a wonderful thing. It gets the day started off right!
I've had times when I needed to ride to work. That feeling once I step off the bike and head to the office. I know I'm going to take control and seize the day, and everybody else better get out of my way, haha. Great topic Gil. I always thought about it to myself, but never really felt like the folks in the office would feel where I'm coming from, lol!
My commute is only 2 miles... The only thing I get from riding in is wanting to ride more. Plus its not good for the bike to be ridden that short a distance, then stopped. I don't usually take my road bike out unless unless I have a day ride or longer planned.
I have the the choice between a car or a motorcycle for my daily commute. I’ve got a 22 Honda Rebel 1100 DCT and I ride at every chance. So did you trade in the Goldwing?
DCT motorcycles make for some terrific commuters as well. Some may argue they have the advantage over the manual transmission motorcycles. See my take below. TOP 3 REASONS WHY THE GOLDWING DCT IS THE BEST COMMUTER MOTORCYCLE ua-cam.com/video/OuJl4d0sJA0/v-deo.html

What a way to start a day.
In this Texas heat the commuting is killing me... Be safe & Thanks Gil!
In that case four wheels and air conditioning is hard to beat.

We get the best starts bar none. Endorphins overload.

The other motorist in the office do not have "The Energy". It's just not the same.
@@GBeWinginIt They really don't!
In two of my previous jobs I had to commute for 66 Kms (the other one was 100km) one way daily and I'd just have so much fun going to work
Really aids in a great disposition to start the day.
Good morning

Isn’t it great to ride when you can? But like you stated the short jaunt doesn’t help the engine.

Got an offer I couldn’t refuse. See link below. Btw I love that 1100 DCT and could see myself rolling one.
