Nice to see the Kaplan Crew breath new life into these Suzuki 2 strokes. Very nice attention to detail and workmanship. Like Ken Sr. said, they don't produce these anymore. Most you see online are so whipped out they would cost a small fortune to restore. And many hours of labor if you do it yourself or hire a shop to do the work.
What a machine......so fricken awesome you all are putting life back into so many of these bikes. God bless Kaplan Cycles where 2 stroke oil flows endlessly

It amazes me he just gets on any bike and just rips it , my first go on a RM 250 got a bar wobble and nearly shit myself couldn't believe the power it put down

I am very partial to these RM250’s.
As I’ve said it’s the best motocross bike I’ve ever owned. It’s great to see these bikes being restored to new and someone is going to be very pleased to own this machine.

Sweet Bike! You guys did a great job! I just restored my 2007. I still have OEM Plastics, but went with new Yellow/Black Polisport Restyling Kit and DeCalMX Graphics. Now, just waiting on the Rekluse RadiusX 4.0 Clutch kit and Panthera E-Start! Got about $6k in it so far and that was shopping very, very frugally. I don't plan on selling it. Best Bike ever!

First bike ever was a Suzuki. Second bike was a yellow era YZ80. Years and years later I am riding a KX. And although I always loved the KX green, I want to change the color scheme to yellow and black when I see Suzukis or old Yamahas.
I’ll take a 83 RM 250 over this any day. I will never forget that beauty back in the day.
That is one stunning bike. I've been a lifelong lover of Suzuki's and Yamaha'. Now, a lover of GasGas, since y'all turned me on to them. My alltime favorite RM's were the ones with the blue painted frames and blue seatcovers, with the yellow plastics. Sexy looking bikes that ran like striped ass apes. ML&R.
