- Why are you here? Did the thumbnail catch your attention? Maybe you've seen the strange, cold, blue portal that it features in a Roblox game before and been left utterly baffled as to what it is? That Google search you did on the Metaverse Game Network that somehow brought back no relevant results must have seemed really weird, huh? Well, that was the case for the entire Roblox community - until now. I've done some digging and found out what these portals REALLY are, and today, I'm here to expose them.

What is ROBLOX? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where people of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX - interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything - be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yettobedreamed-up creation. i found the owner playing in one game and he is super chill, we were playing around and i asked if i could use exploits for fun.. he actually said yes! we played around some more, he gave me a blur effect and said "find me" so i just enabled esp and he was so confused lol. he is super nice, im at the beginning of the video hope he doesn't have anything to do with the thingy here.

I've done research into networks on Roblox as I was interested in their cash flow.
From what we know, the parent company will reach out to brands to make a deal. The pitch is about how the brand can create an interactive space in the "metaverse" in order to reach out to a younger demographics. Brands pay BIG dollars for marketing, and iirc the deals are in the high 5 to low 6 figures.
This cost is justified because the games WILL get millions of visits. This used to be done solely by Roblox with their recent events. However, third parties, such as Dubit and GameFam, have started popping up, doing the same thing. We have decent products like Sonic Simulator, and then... Lunchables 100% Juice battles?
By the looks of it, this "Metaverse Portal" is how Dubit artificially inflates player count. In marketing, that would be an "impression". While every teleport counts as a visit, in reality, play time is most likely

I feel like I might have seen this portal when I played Alpine Slide to Telamon, thought nothing of it due to the new Immersive Teleports they have in games like NDS which are essentially the same thing as this just supported by Roblox. Very interesting perspective as well on this topic, wouldn't have thought about the Sponsored games getting way more traffic. Well done!

*3 TIMES my team was contacted by Dubit about this metaverse portal deal.*
Let me start with the fact that we said no. We felt that in a competitive shooter (No-Scope Arcade), having a massive portal on every map would ruin gameplay and actually ruin our engagement in the end. They were not willing to compromise with a UI-based solution, and mentioned that it MUST be done with a portal.
My manager and I got instant bad vibes from this. At minimum, if we were to include it, we would mark it as a clearly labeled button in the spectate menu. Part of me assumes they make it a portal because the player will mistake it as a part of the game, not as an advertisement.
We were offered to be paid for every time a player interacted with the portal in our game... but your video is the first time I've heard of it teleporting to non-brand experiences, or much less, getting visits from other games.

Isnt that illegal too?? I mean the fact they dont mark it AS an ad but just have you slap it in? I really hope they get caught and fined. Advertising to children in this form is so gross!

I played texting simulator for months as a kid and never noticed any portals or correlation to other games and it seemed like a normal game and fashion famous is the same idk ablut the others though.

DUDE I'M SO GLAD I SAW SOMEONE TALK ABOUT THIS i love that weirdcore game and i saw the portals while exploring around and i was SO confused, i think it kept asking me if i wanted to join a different game whenever i pressed e?? which was really annoying because i've always had a habit of pressing e randomly while playing video games lmao, but it just felt super sketchy from the start

Yeah! It really broke the immersion but I’m glad they removed the portal now.

I went back onto texting simulator and went to the portal and it teleported me to a ninja warrior game with an icon saying "metaverse gaming network join a random game"

i noticed one of these in shockwave racing!! was playing with a few friends and one of us thought it was like. a booster or something (racing game yakno?) and when i went thru i was just blank staring at my monitor that said ‘ Would you like to join Poop Simulator? ‘ genuinely the most surreal experience ive had to-date

one game that is a part of this network (shockwave racing) sometimes just replaces the normal portal with a lunchables styled portal for some reason

When it wants to send you to a sponsored game, I believe the portal is supposed to transform into a specially themed one, but it often glitches and doesn't do that. H&M Looptopia has a weird purple runway-type build, and Nickverse has a pineapple shaped one.

Nice video! Though a really strange update between here and like last year was the portals weren't their but replaced with pop ups. The pop ups were super annoying and basically ruined the wierdcore game aesthetic with a popup for texting simulator every like 15 minutes.

I thought it was just a random thing, a random free model too! I saw it in one of the games i used to play, but didnt think much of it because
1: its something i am not affected by
2: its something that "helps" the game get an audience
3: it probably was a free model of some sorts as it didnt fit into the game
4: it was literally right next to spawn, the players would come, see the game, not like it and go thru the portal
5: i am not stupid enough to give games i wont play premium payout
6: i thought it was something by roblox
Fun fact: eight driver car racing actually does have the portal you have to go to the drag race map

Pros:
Corner flipping are varied and much more creative
Cons:
You will never freely fling yourself.
I can name a few cons too.
-Obby's/games that force you to use that stupid rthro run animation which make parkour a chore.
-Item wall clipping no longer possible.
-Gears became useless
they removed most of my arsensal of glitches but at least i still got my trashy 0.5 clips with dancing / vpose glitches and stuff with rthro and a few speed glitches with gears
I saw these portals a while back (like 5-6 months ago) when I was playing Shockwave Racing and so confused upon learning there was actually nobody mentioning them anywhere

I used to play the Garden VS Graves series of games, and both GvG tycoon (the oldest example you showed in the video) and GvG battlegrounds contained these portals. I also initally thought it's just a model you can grab to get advertising, but never looked into it further. Thanks for jumping into this rabbit hole and "exposing" where these portals exactly came from.

i had played one of the games wich you mentioned during this video quite a lot(altough i hadnt even visited the game for a while) texting simulator yet i still dont remember there being any portal leading to a game,the closest thing there was to that was a place with portals wich lead to an obby wich i think gave you a reward for completing(it didnt tp you to any other game,it was all in the game)
For some reason, the portal in the weirdcore game, instead of being removed, was moved to a secret test area that can only be accessed by glitching out of bounds. the name of the portal was changed to “Blox portals” or something like that.
I actual noticed the portal before you made this video since I play a game called world conquest and one day the portal just kinda appeared. I wondered what it was at first but after figuring out what it did. I just kinda ignored it for the most part
Also if you were wondering, world conquest is a little niche game on Roblox where you rp as nations and develop your economy and go to war and stuff. (I have mostly stooped playing world Conquest I have most moved on to its competitor risk universalis)

This video is very informative on this network especially with the comapny being obscure and not know as much which is a bit sketchy and also the yo me hablo espanol meme thing you did is hilarious as hell and came out of nowhere which helped it be funny
Technically this does help the games with the smaller playerbase compared to the others and hurts the games with more players (unless they dont have the door).

Oh yeah, I noticed that metaverse portal in that weirdcore game not too long ago when messing around with friends. There were like a few of them, iirc? But after seeing they were a "metaverse game network" i brushed it off as more corporate roblox nonsense

I have watched this video about 60 times trying to dig deeper snd i found a lot of stalker-ish stuff people from dubit are watching other players that go through portals thousands of screenshots of them loads of info on their behaviours! This is terrifying

A slightly obscure ROBLOX game called World Conquest added it a few months ago. I honestly just knew “oh new metaverse crap” when I saw it, immediately.

It seems to be in my favorite game too! Not even human simulator is safe! But it always went to a different game every day! And it was only there after an update
They could be emailing the owners of these random games for permission to edit their game in return for money. And then putting the portals in for some reason….
More info in one game there was a sign saying “We will reward people in the future for entering the portal” Maybe there getting paid for it?

Hello nitrolord, Watching your video I remembered that Epic Minigames also has a metaverse style portal, in the lobby, you go to the leaderboard room, And one of the bushes inside the room you fall into a black room with a portal that takes you to a random game that has nothing to do with Epic Minigames, but the word "metaverse network" does not appear on the portal

A bit late but I found a portal in the game “Noob Train [Alpha]” by Pandoozle that tried to teleport me to a game called “Slime Tycoon” by KingCheese13.
as soon as i saw the thumbnail, i recognized that. i used to play this game called elemental dragons tycoon, and at first i dont think the metaverse game network was there, but i remember i came back to the game later and the metaverse game network was there, and asked me if i wanted to play some random game that i forgot the name of

I saw this portal in a game called "Elevators". I wanted to enter and play games but they were so weird lol
I actually saw one of these portals today. It was in Noob train. From what i can tell it was recently added. Back when the game was at it's peak it was not there. When I saw it I just thought they either sold out or that game it lead to was affiliated with the noob train dev.
A game I like, Elevators has a dubit portal and after watching this video I did my own test. I went into a dubit portal in one game, left the game and went to another game with a dubit portal. I did this 100 times and recorded each game it wanted to teleport me to and how many times. The most common was H&M Looptopia, With a massive 27 prompts.
When I found a cool racing game named "Shockwave Racing" it was a interesting game and like a momentum obby racing game and when I saw a cool portal at spawn I entered it and it showed me a random game pop up. It sent me into another game but I ignored it and went back to the game.
