Op13 is faster than op12 . But looking at the cost to upgrade to op13 (costing 500 dollars) extra by submitting op12 is a joke. OnePlus giving only 300 dollars as a resale value just 11 months of device usage.😅😅. Thats terrible. No wonder Apple has that big reputation of big resale value
I sold my oneplus for $500 independently. then I got the oneplus 13 and a watch 2r for $750. so basically $250 to get a phone upgrade and a free watch. iphones will definitely hold their value better than most phones, but that's irrelevant for someone who likes android. the equivalent apple phone and watch would cost close to $1700. the equivalent samsung would be even more. I'll add that last years 15 pro max is selling for less than $900 in the 512 variant. that's a loss of $500. if you trade in a 15 pro for the 16 pro, apple is only giving $650. that's a loss of nearly $1k in a year.
Apple is the only manufacturer with its own operating system and chipset hardware. If you wanted IOS you have one choice. The market is Saturated with Android options.
Now we just need to wait for the Pixel 10 Pro XL with its TSMC-fabbed Tensor G5 processor. I think the OnePlus 13 or 13R would be a better by than a pixel. I’m looking forward to the iPhone 17 pro max
Do if possible of one plus 13 vs iqoo 13
Nick doesn't have iqoo 13 he's cant buy Chinese phone because Chinese phones in china
@@stelgabbihuh?
Oneplus by the proverbial country mile. Brand and camera aside there’s absolutely no reason to get the pixel over the op… imho…
If google didn't change soc on pixel devices . They will be out of the competition sooner or later.
Nothing phone 2 vs OnePlus 13 speed test please❤❤
Waiting for the Nothing Phone 3, that phone has an older chip
$1099.00 for 128gb 😂 lol
Pixel come on really?
Regular video thanks, and good work.
Pixel is better on software update policy and much worse on hardware and price. On other points, the OnePlus 13 is much better.
As an iPhone user I would pick the pixel.
As an iphone user I would pick none of them🤣🤣
I sold my iPhone 16 pro max and got the oneplus 13. Very happy with my decision been using it for 2 days now
@@johngardner869 nah man I will never pick the onelplus.
@@johngardner869 yea right🤣🤣
@@Rocky-pz8px loving it so far
This video is misleading! The reality is I have 8 email accounts, social media, 5 G phone calls, pictures, videos, gaming and Not one issue. Nothing nada.....benchmarks mean NOTHING. This is Reality!!
Love for nick ❤
The resale value of Android phones tends to be low, with the price of even brand new devices dropping significantly within a year.
Apple is the only manufacturer with its own operating system and chipset hardware. If you wanted IOS you have one choice. The market is Saturated with Android options.
Iphone 15 pro max just sent you 400$ dollars... in apple page
The sound of your voice is up there with Morgan Freeman. 👏
Delusional
Bro😂😂😂
Yea right
Now we just need to wait for the Pixel 10 Pro XL with its TSMC-fabbed Tensor G5 processor. Technically not a super fair comparison because the Pixel 9 series was released last year whereas the OnePlus 13 just came out, but I don't blame you as that's the best we have available right now. Great video, by the way!
@@random_person618 But oneplus 13 was released 3 months after pixel 9 pro xl so it's an equal comparison
@@Lemonek997 That's right but I said that one phone was released in 2024 and the other in 2025. Also, the Snapdragon 8 Elite didn't exist when the Pixel 9 series came out.
Even if you compare the pixel 9 to oneplus 12, the oneplus 12 blows it out of the water
OnePlus 13 China was released in Oct 2024. The global version was just released in Jan 2025. Snapdragon was released in Oct 2024. Other brands were using 8 elite in other countries. It's just the US market that's behind and has limited access to smartphones compared to the rest of the world.
@@Tkz9000 January 2024? I think you mean to say 2025.
Nick I'll if i have a enough I'll buy a phone for 1100 dollars
Id still pick pixel over the OnePlus
👍
ufs 4.0 in OP vs ufs 3.1 in Pixel...
So you use transfers often? I never do. Even when setting up it's all wireless
@@Lodi-dv5imYou got it mixed up with the usb c standard.
@@lukecousin And the worst thing is that most smartphones, even quite expensive ones, have usb-c 2.0. So the standard of the flash memory doesn't matter. For example - oneplus 13r for 750$.
@@lukecousinyou’re wrong
It’s UFS 3.1 unfortunately
Yep, you're right
I think the OnePlus 13 or 13R would be a better by than a pixel
Would buy pixel but i play a lot of games
Than it's not a goid option
Mobile gamers are always whiny about the lack of processing speed of Pixel phones for gaminh. No one is forcing you to buy Pixel phones. You have so many options for mobile gaming phones. Stop acting like a baby. 😂
Bro only have one plus, pixel, samsung and iphone 😂
Not even that's just what I'm choosing to cover right now
You should also add PUBG game
I don't know but I prefer pixel's animations over the iOS-ification of oxygen os. I like to have some identity in the phone unlike most manufacturers going straight to add blur everywhere and follow iOS's path. I know they don't have linear animations but tbh I don't notice that in my usage. My pixel 8 works fine for everything.
I thought the oixel the the new iPhone 17
One plus is so smother than google 🤨
Redmagic 10 Pro Vs Pixel 9 pro XL
People can say anything.. but all i can say is, I SEE STUTTERS ON BOTH THE DEVICES.. m noway leaving my iPhone.. even a few year old iphone doesnt stutter and a new gen android does.. it’s a pity..
Where do you see stutter on oneplus
You just lied. iPhones lag just like any other phone. iPhones also have overheating issues (16 pro max) to be exact.
Iphone 16 pros lag on iOS 18 so whats your point
I didn't see that anywhere on the 1+? I'll agree with you that the iPhone is beyond smooth and well optimized, but so is OnePlus. As is pixel phones, google needs to work on their animations, though.
@@katinasoutherland7693 bro u guys need to see the video again.. both phones were stuttering while scrolling in the apps..while swiping to new screen..
❤
@nickackermanchannel can you add gangster vegas ( an open world game ) in the gaming row of the speed test next time.
I don’t think Google going snapdragon is the answer they need to drop Samsung with for their Tensor processor, the whole point of the Tensor is for Google to have greater control of their software and hardware. Anyway great job Nick.
Samsung is always the best. 🎉
Why does pixel look like stock android
Because it's stock android.
It was made by the owner of android which is Google
Pixel seems like a midrange phone...Even all the camera sensors of pixel are backdated and old.
Pixel is my best take
Went from oneplus 7T to pixel 8, and i tell ya pixels sucks, the software experience the chipset everything sucks
@@aj906 really? I wanted to switch to the pixel from my 7t, what's wrong with it?
Pixel is a better phone, unless u want to play games on ur phone, pixel is advanced
How so?
It's the brand
Pixel is google
And Google has been awful for going on 10 years now.
My pixel 9 pro xl is perfect.
The pixel got wrecked :(
Pixel "clean" android?? 😅😅
It's a nice piece of software for sure
@nickackermanchannel I think OnePlus software is a better
11:00 when the samsung gets release ive bet this points will get reduce same when the iphone gets release the same year
Green line yet?
Lol i never had a green line on any OnePlus phone
@@nickackermanchanneli ever see greenline my phones.
All Pixels needs are snapdragons chips and quick charge = perfection
Try iQOO 13
I got a great deal on a pixel 9 pro from my carrier. That is the only reason I have one. The processor on the pixel is inexcusable for the price. Doesn't matter how snappy the pixel is.
OnePlus 13 is the best
