I still remember a single umikaze killed a division of 2 yamatos and a ibuki And that was the time radar doesn't exist If your thinking how on earth that umikaze is still alive well his divisioned with 2 gearings XD
The fact that an entire 9 minutes of content can be created from a tutorial boat just goes to show how far the WoWs playerbase's collective knowledge has come.
I earned the Russian Ovechkin commander and used him on the Smolensk and Okhotnik. Now he is at 21 points and too expensive to retrain, so he is still trained for the Orlan. However, I would never be so cheeky to take him into a random battle, as it might be considered seal clubbing. Because Malwarebytes often does not trust WoWS, my first battle is always a test to see if I can connect, so I use a ship where getting zero credits for the inactivity penalty will not hurt (imagine earning zero credits for failing to connect with a super ship). Playing a tier I ship with a 21 point commander, in co-op is quite fun.
I mostly play Tier 1 by choice, though I only have a 7 point captain by this point. Mostly because I split my attention between several ships. I'm still working on getting Adrenaline Rush, but Heavy HE and Demolition Expert do make it vicious.
I remember years ago, when tier I ships actually *did* have citadels and ammo choice. If you wanted to farm citadels for the lols, you chose Erie and mounted the 6" guns (because stock was 5" guns). And then you just farmed yellow ribbons (because they used to be yellow, not black).
We should all just pay T1, as like you said, because every ship is pretty well balanced, whether or not you win is determined by skill rather than special gimmicks. Of course, if everyone played T1, we all know wargaming would just add T1 premiums.
If you are the seal, you roll over and accept the inevitable clubbing. It will all be over in a second. No tears, only dreams now. Struggling only prolongs the inevitable. If you are the clubber, you come to an agreement to club everyone else before trying to determine who truly is Dirty Dan. And once you have completed this task, you turn off your browser and take a nice, hot shower. Dirty deeds may be done dirt cheap, but that doesn't mean forgoing proper hygiene after committing said dirty deeds, you filthy scrub-lord.
I do what I do whenever I see a good enemy player, I charge them, one of us dies. Probably me because my dispersion is terrible and my team left me to face a 1v4 situation.
It’s so funny after I watched this video I played in the Erie and I think I saw Yuro in the first battle I played and I got completely destroyed by him lol.
@@Yurobeat its alright I honestly am not complaining since this would probably be the only time I would actually face against you and I consider it to be an honor to be destroyed by you
You're right about WT not being competition. It's a different beast from what WoWs has. It's got its own problems and broken premiums. But damn does it feel gangster dodging torpedos without indicators as you run over a PT boat and kill it while nuking the ammo of destroyer some 5km away where distance actually feels like distance. I love it, but damn is it needing work. It really is a shame it doesn't get enough players.
To be fair, War Thunder’s Naval does not get the amount of attention it deserves. There’s a lot of promise and fun to be had there, but a vast majority of people playing War Thunder are going to be invested in the Ground or Air Battles. It wasn’t until after Naval’s launch that Gaijin realized the only way to bring any popularity to the game mode was to add the bigger ships instead of putting the initial focus on much lesser known PTs, but by then the game mode was, essentially, dead in the water. Anyone who would want to grind for the bigger ships anyway probably already invested their time unlocking their favorite big ship in WoWS. The only thing I can think of to bring any amount of attention back to WT Naval would be a huge event. Either a series of naval ‘historical’ battles, essentially acting as a free trial of the bigger American and Japanese ships in the Pacific to bring some attention to them. Or, if they weren’t confident Naval could stand on its own legs, a special kind of event battle where teams start at Sea as Naval Combat, each a Blue Water ship with only one life, with eliminated teammates able to respawn as Air Support. One team is trying to protect landing craft going to an island or shore, and the other team is trying to eliminate all enemy landing craft before they get to land. If landing craft make it, it becomes a Ground Forces spawn point and launches a naval invasion. The ‘Losing’ team at Sea then has to defend their point on the ground with either their own ground forces, air support, or shore bombardment by sea. It would be interesting to bring attention to Naval by seeing how it could intermix with existing Ground and Air combat, as we have not seen an official game mode where all three interact with all three types of vehicle player controlled. I imagine if this mode goes well, we could get get even more interesting events where smaller Coastal Fleet ships could go down a river or through a marsh to assist Ground or Air Forces.
@@trainman5513 There was a custom battles set up along these lines. I haven't been following it, but the community is certainly trying to make it possible. I invested a huge amount of time and even some money into games like WoT and WoWs, but I had 0 problem leaving those games to go fully to WT. It's got its own kind of fun and doesn't rely on gimmicks. That's not to say they won't sell the premiums with gimmicks, but the tree vehicles don't have ridiculous rules to them. This has a decent appeal to people. The most difficult thing is to actually get people to play naval, not so much getting new people from WoWs to start playing. Most people are too stuck in Air or Ground and don't bother with naval. This means the players who do, have an edge by simply getting good at it. I actually feel bad for going 10/0 because I likely just steam rolled some newer naval ayer who might just decide it's not worth it, eliminating a possible player to very limited mode. That said, I am seeing more players in naval. And with event vehicles for naval coming out, and BP challenges geared for naval, there's more incentive to at least play it a bit. There's hope for it getting bigger and then improving. But as for new game modes? This is Gaijin we're talking about! They only just started looking into helicopter PvE. I fear new naval modes are far, far off from now.
