Once again great job Pete. Waiting to hear a demo. May be not even close to what it’s playing in live but still can feel 40% how it is sounding in real👏🏻
Excellent travail, très belle intégration 🤗💯👍, le propriétaire doit avoir le sourire figé sur le visage. Félicitations à toute l'équipe PS sound. Hello from France
Peter, without a doubt, the 5 way system is PSSound's "Signature" product! I could go a step further and say, if I was your competition, I would not even attempt to call it the same thing. Of course you know I have the JBL Harman Kardon sponsorship for my Ford Ranger extend cab truck. I will be doing a 5 way install with "experimental" effects speaker package.....centers, rears, and height ....processed channels. This will be mainly for multimedia usage but we will see how it progresses. My truck has a very small cabin including and shallow dash/window combo. Hopefully this set up will assist with adding the illusion of something a lot larger. Enough about me! Do you know what stood out to me the most from your customer? OMG....his refrain of his pure excitement! No matter how hard he tried to stay calm, out came the 16 year old that just heard, no....felt, a quality system for the first time!!! I simply love it and your enthusiasm as well for this still. It makes a difference and keeps a job from being a job!!! Thank you for all that Pssound does for the car audio community!
Another great install Peter! Clean and stealth 😀 Don't take this as overly picky, and you may know this, but the Zapco emblem is held on with adhesive tape and could be removed and reinstalled right side up. Absolutely love all your videos!
The logo has locator pins too and the other way around you’d need to shave those off and just rely on glue. We didn’t want to risk that. Maybe next time.
Mark Aldridge(?) mentioned on a podcast that surface mounted dash speakers suffer from direct and reflected wave propagation delay. His solution for dash mounted speakers was to recess the speaker into the dash and control reflections with waveguides. Or, find the exact angle that the surface mounted speaker needs to be mounted at to minimize the direct and reflected delay. I am currently working on 3Dprinting a speaker mount/waveguide to mount a full range SB Acoustics SB65WBAC25-4 in the dash corners of my 2008 Ford Fusion. Imagine a Morel CAT378, but with a middler and a deeper waveguide.
Beautiful love the stealth look for daily ,and for somewhat hidden for audio criminals that try to ruin our lives, I cannot imagine the sq ,you have to sit in the car to actually feel and hear the rewards of custom pro audiophile grade audio builds ,its absolute bliss, nice job guys.also down the road some day will you build another competition car now that honda is retired. Will you reveal another ps sound car that you use for long trips to shows .any hints,😆 lol
Thanks for your message. I wish I had explained more but honestly I think my brain was so distracted by this insane system, I'm still not sure the reality has kicked in completely, Peter and his team have done an amazing job on this stealthy install. I use Poweramp for higher sample rates with the Topping D10s but I also occasionally use Plex which does not support 44.1 or higher than 48 (even though it streams FLACs). I wish it was system wide on Android. A Windows setup would also benefit from a sub 15 second boot time vs Samsung's android which seems to take forever. Plus Winamp's fantastic visualisation/plugin support. Strangely the Galaxy Tab S8 takes even longer to boot! I might try a non-Samsung custom ROM for the meantime and give your recommendations a go too! 👍👍
@@TheTechKnowG nice, im gonna have a pc in my car aswell.. that system looks so amazing, u was probably in "shock" when u was there :D. lovely build :) and cant wait till u get the pc installed :)
What are the crossover points on the front sub? Great work as always. Edit: I see I can find this answer behind a paywall. Nice haha I respect the hustle.
Good to hear you again pete

In your IB installs, is it a noticeable difference, say for instance if you are riding around with the windows down ?
Yeah, they become very windy below 25Hz.
That is my type of car. An audio sleeper
Yepp, pretty much a sleeper! 😎🔊🔊
you can force higher sample rate on android. you can use usb audio player or neutron :)

@@TheTechKnowG Hi dude is that your car? I'm jealous 😃.
@@TheTechKnowG how do you charge the tablet when connected to the d10s?
@@MrLinkan2 USB-C Dock (Anker 543 6-in-1 to be exact). These docks allow you to charge via USB-C power and plug in USB Type A devices, no issues.
Hello Peter, are you coming this year to Salzburg with Honda? Great build as always!
Hi, Honda is retired, only travelling to UK meetings. I shared a video about it 2 weeks ago. I may turn up though.
What are the crossover points on the front sub?
Great work as always.

Great job, witch DSP are you using for 5way ? Like the A pillar!
